Called for my PAC the other day, agent could get my request for an S4 down to £26, that's unlimited minutes and texts, 1 GB data, free phone and delivery. I declined.
Day later a call from retentions and got a free S4, unlimited calls and texts and 2GB of data for £21 a monthFree delivery and 24 month contract.

I also called Vodafone today as I am eligible for an upgrade and want a Samsung Galaxy S4. The best deal they offered was £52 for
unlimited minutes
unlimited txts
6GB of data
upfront cost of the phone was about £180 (4G tariff)
12 Month contract
the alternative was the same as above except for:
2GB
Upfront cost £49 (3G tariff)
Given that I have been with Vodafone for a number of years now I think this is pretty poor so I am looking into sourcing the phone elsewhere and then going SIM free. I've asked for my PAC code so they might call me back in the next few days and offer me a better deal but some of the deals quoted in this thread seem incredible compared to what I have been offered!0 -
I do wonder if the above S4 deals are for the S4 mini not the S4. Way too cheap.
£21 x 24 = less than the phone costs. OK Voda will get a big discount but where is the profit unless you make zero calls or text etc.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

That is the deal I want! I will accept nothing else!
Can you just confirm that it was for the S4 and not the S4 mini?
Even on the S4 mini, I'm not getting anything close to that, best I was offered was £25/month on the same tariff as yours.
I guess I'm going to have to wait for my PAC code to expire and then try again.0 -

Do Vodafone do any unlimited data plans?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
To Lee at Vodafone Web Relations
I am not too happy with your retention team!
My partner was called at work today by retentions. They've been trying to contact her for a few days now. She asked them to call back this evening and it was confirmed that they would call back at 7:30. She cannot really speak at work and she wants me to be around when they call.
7:30 comes...she gets the call... and after 5 seconds of silence, the person on the other end hung up. No one bothered to try calling back again.
My partner left a work event early to take the call, so that makes this all the more frustrating. It's a bit of a poor show when you're trying to retain customers.
Does the retention team work on Saturday, because that's the earliest she will be available now.
I'll PM you her phone number. EDIT... I can't PM you...0 -

I meant to say unlimited calls and texts and 1GB on all three plans that I was offered.0 -
Hi llyamah,
Thanks for making me aware of this.
I'm afraid the PM function is disabled for company representatives.
Our Retention team is available at the weekend. To reach them your partner just needs to call 191 from her mobile and select the relevant option.
If she needs any further help, could you ask her to email me with her details via the link in our profile here?
All she'll need to do is copy and paste the link into her web browser and it'll take her to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me could she also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line?
Once sent she'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. So I can make sure I've got it could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to her as soon as possible?
Kind regards,
Lee
