because I can get Sure signal which would could cover all of our phones. Some people have got a deal which includes this.0 -
Just called up about my little brothers phone (it's in my name). He wanted the S4 so I was aiming for that deal that everyone else was getting.
First guy said he could go no lower than £37/month but was really trying to push the iPhone which he has and doesn't want another.
I then called dial-a-phone who offered me £26/month but reduced to £21.67/month after redemption.
Called Vodafone back and the guy said £29/month. I then asked for my PAC code and the line went silent/dead... but I work in a call centre so I knew he had only put me on mute. 20 seconds later he came back on and said he had trouble with his line. I ended up not taking the PAC code cause apparently I get a charge right now for it as early termination (even though it is EXACTLY 30 days until my contract expires).
Waiting until the end of the month then I'll get my PAC and go over to Orange (unless I get offered the £23.50 deal in the mean time).
Vodafone called me today and said "we understand you're thinking of leaving, you're a valued customer blablabla" and asked what I was looking for. I told them of the dial-a-phone offer but also said I'd happily stick with Vodafone if it was even close to it (I said around £24/£25) but he said there was nothing they could do at all.
Well see ya later Vodafone then. £47 on two handsets for two years and the best you could do was worse than every single provider and less than others were offered here.0 -
Well phoned up to ask what they could offer and to get my PAC code. Started off by telling him wanted 2 Samsung S4's as have two contracts. He said what the £33 per month ones and I said no, most I want to pay is £24 per month and also want insurance. Tried to offer it at £29 as the best deal, I said no and asked for my PACs for both phones.
Am now waiting for the phone call. Was told my PAC's would be sent within 2 hours, still got 25 mins left and then getting on the phone to find out where they are. Will keep you updated on what I get.
Am only looking for unlimited texts, 2GB data and unlimited minutes so if the Vodafone rep on here can do anything I would be pleased to know at 2 lots of £24 per month.
Have been with Vodafone for 4 years and contract ended on 6 August.0 -
Having a major issue with vodafone right now
brother upgraded his phone through outbound retentions
s3 17 pounds a month haf price unlimited evrything and 2gb data
he got a text message to confirm the deal
a few days later phoned up as had not recieved the phone and was told a glitch and system meant they had to cancel that order and reorder.
anyway he discussed with upgraded, told them of the deal originally offered , they found the notes and honoured.
now a month later the bill came at 70 pounds. when he has not gone over any of the limits and vodafone indian call centre are saying the deal does not exist and he owes so much
how do we resolve
Hi federer,
Thanks for making me aware of this.
If your brother would like me to take a closer look at things could you ask him to email me with his details via the link in our profile here?
He'll just need to copy and paste the link into his web browser and it'll take him to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me could he also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line?
Once sent he'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. Could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to him as soon as possible?
Thanks,
Lee

I can upgrade my phone with Vodafone on Friday so I'm just browsing to get an idea what I may bet offered. Want an iPhone 5 and I'm not bothered about 4g as we are not going to get in where we live I wouldn't think...ill admit I don't know much about 4g thoughHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

Just upgraded:
iPhone 5 - free
£25.90 per month
Unlimited mins/Unlimited text/1gb data
Plus credit to cover price of sure signal box (we do have 3 vodafone contracts though so this helps).0 -
Just upgraded deal was:--
two Samsung S4's
Unlimited Minutes
Unlimited Texts
2Gb data
Unlimited data for first three months
£19 per month with 50% discount for two years of contract.
Originally had two lots of £12.99 Vodafone Insurance but found I could be covered by Home Contents cover, so extended that for £75 per year extra.
Think its a bargain myself as didn't expect it. I got my PAC code one day and next day retentions phoned and I negotiated this deal.0 -
Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini
300 minutes
Unlimited texts
750MB data
£13.50 x 24
I only wanted a sim only but the guy said there's not much wiggle room he has with sim only, the cheapest being around £10 which was more than I wanted. Just been offered this one though. Sell the phone for £150 which basically works out at £6.25 per month. I told him to call me tomorrow but I don't think I'll get much (any?) better than that. I'm a really low usage user (200mins, 200 texts and 500mb of data would do me).
I've not had a text, email or the phone I was promised within 24 hours. So I don't think that's coming. Now I see more people getting the normal S4 deal they said they couldn't do for me on my other contract. I'll just jump ship on one of them to Orange and the other to Ovivo instead then I think. Very poor form from Vodafone.0 -
Contract finishes October 6th got text saying I could upgrade so phoned them up and told them I was after Samsung s4 he said best offer which runs out next week is £33 for unlimited calls and texts and 2 mb i said that people are getting it for £23 he claims he doesn't know how. I asked him how I cancel my contract he told me to give them 30 days notice.
What's my next move to get it for £23
Rang today to give 30 days notice and get my PAC code still only offering £33 deal. What next ?0
