well after contacting web relations they offered me no sim deal to contemplate even messing with idea as so bad, talked about a contract and said he would get somebody else to ring me, came with no deal breaker after saying what other people on this forum have got
Easy for me as I now look else where, I am still the paying customer0 -
Long term customer with high end tariffs over many years
S4 for Free
600 Minutes
Unlimited text
1gb internet
Insurance
£33
Quite pleased with that plus it saved me trip to the high street today.
At one point a few months back I was going to leave Vodafone due to some issue with an insurance claim plus my signal isn't the best but knowing that we have got people like Lee on this site plus the staff have been very good during the negotiations compensates for this. They have been clever with their sales techniques but also friendly and respectful at the same time so I am more than happy to stay0 -

Did you try and haggle?
EDIT.....just noticed you got insurance included, so yes that's a decent deal.0 -
I've just been offered and accepted a 12 month sim only deal, consisting of:
900 minutes
Unlimited texts
1 GB internet
£13.40 per month"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -

Yep, under no illusions that its also good for Vodafone and that I maybe could have got a couple of extras r reduced it a touch more but at that price I felt as though it was a fair deal for a loyal customer0 -
PAC code runs out on Friday. Haven't had any calls at all from Vodafone. Contract expires Friday too. Seriously need to find time to look around now. As others have said doesn't matter how long you have been with VF loyalty doesn't count. 15 years for me. Oh well time moves on. Shall look for SIM only deal I think.0

Requested PACs for my three children's phones yesterday and they have been bombarded with calls today from the retentions department. Which is futile as I'm the account holder. I don't know why they just don't try and offer a decent deal at the time of requesting the PAC rather than playing this game. Moving them to SIM only plans with Tesco mobile for 10 quid/month each which includes 500 mins, 5000 texts, 1GB data, plus a bonus of 150 mins or 250mb data or 500 tesco to tesco minutes per phone for having more than one number on the account.0

Out of contract as from midnight today. Rang VF as haven't had any calls whatsoever from retentions and was offered the following:
Sim only : 300 mins, u/l texts, 250mg £10.50 pm
Phone : Samsung S3 offered but have to pay £10.75 for it.
300 mins, u/l texts, 250mg and 3 months u/l Internet
£21.25
Said no and she went off to speak to her manager and said they could increase minutes to 600 for same price.
I currently pay £25 with £4 deduction = £21, for 300 mins, u/l texts and 500 mb.
Looking at what others have been offered I don't think they were good offers especially just 300 mins.0 -

Don't worry about your PAC expiring, you can simply request another.
That's a poor sim only retention deal IMHO, my kids were on a SIM only deal for £10.50 for 300 mins, unlimited texts, 500MB data. Your current deal sound very expensive. My own phone is still on Voda sim only, £20.50 for 900 minutes, unlimited texts, 500Mb data, 500Mb BT wifi. When I mentioned getting a PAC for my number as well they offered the same deal for £13.50.
Can't comment on the phone deal you've been offered.0
