Vodafone Retention Deals

Don't try to "upgrade" online unless you're happy to forego any sort of deal for your loyalty to the brand. The only decent offer is going to come when the retentions team call you back after you've got your PAC.
That said with a decent cashback offer you can often do better moving elsewhere. (I've been hearing good things about Three which is not a network I'd have usually considered but the deals are very good and they've recently come out better in tests. Voda may be busy elsewhere and forgetting the basics like connectivity and call consistency.)0 -

How much did you have to pay for the phone ? Excellent deal.
I have had my PAC code for four days now and not one phone call from VF. Not too bothered now as I have a new phone. Samsung S3. I can now go for a sim only deal if I want to.
Lack of coverage in my area is due to a problem with the mast, according to the person in the shop. He said VF are aware there is a big problem but unless people complain about these things VF don't admit there is one. Sounds about right!0 -

they cancelled it and then say they are doing it again. this was after i rang normal upgrades to ask why the order was cancelled, normal upgrades said they would apply the offer0

I managed to get the following deal, i asked for them to send text with details which included the following:
contract length: 24 months
monthly charge including vat: £23
discount : £-19
discount length 24 months
handset: S4 free
price plan: unlimited calls, unlimited text, 2gb data+ bt wifi data (2 gb I believe)
delivery free
insurance - £12.99 3 months minimum (with insurance my total would be £35.99, if did pay it for 3 months my effective cost per m onth for 24 months becomes£24.65)
Having read the previous posts after cancelling the insurance it works out to £23 pounds.
as it says 3 months minimum can i still cancel the insurance without loosing the discount? Vodafone insider could you please get back to me on that? I plan on cancelling insurance as soon as i get my phone on Wednesday.
Also i had two months remaining on current contract so with that my discount runs out on the 22 or 23rd month at which point the price would return to £42. plus I would only be able to upgrade in the last month.
Hope this information helps. thanks again for the advice vodafone insider and the rest of you for your posts, it really helped.0 -

Hello,
My 12-month contract with Vodafone is nearing the end and was wondering if anyone has received any good retention deals from Vodafone? I am currently on the Anytime 125 contract, which is 125 mins and 250 texts for £20 per month. I am hoping to get something similar for a little cheaper. Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
I pay a fiver for 600 minutes / 500MB / 5000 txts to put that in perspective.0 -

Hey I was in my last three months of my contract thus able to upgrade, I requested the PAC code and waited for the call. i received a call the same day roughly 4 hours later. I basically told the guy that my friend got this deal and i wanted the same thing. said i would only like to pay 20-24 for my tarrif. Told him that my friend got the red plan and insurance for 35, then said i dont mind paying that same amount with insurance, as it covers the expensive phone. he said he could only apply 30% discount wouldnt budge, said whether he could speak to his manager, as if he matched the deal i would accept. probably pretended to speak to manager and said yes:-)
called them today to make sure discount is one and just enquired abut cancelling insurance they said i could, waiting for phone before I cancel.was hoping to hear back from vodafoneinsider.0
