Vodafone Retention Deals

I'd be happy with that deal fairywishes.
I haven't had a call still from VF. I got my PAC code nearly two weeks ago now. Contract runs out 9th August so still have time to be offered a great deal! Lol0 -
How much leeway does the retentions team have on the SIM Only contracts? I have seen a few good deals posted here for £10 a month, but I am wanting to get a bit more data. I was hoping for the red £31 4gb data/month. Is it too much to aim to get this at 50% off (15.50/month)? This would be putting it down to what others ie T-mobile are currently offering (but before taking in to account any quidco cashback available with Tmobile).
Many thanks
I'm not sure they are negotiating on sim only deals now - I've been a long-standing customer and am looking for a replacement sim for my daughter and have been only offered what's on the website - I'm looking for a similar deal as I have: 300 mins, 5000 texts and 1.25 mg data pm on a micro sim (iphone 4). Retentions when they phoned wouldn't come near. I'm paying £8.50 pm. Think I will have to go to giff gaff for my daughter as being a teen she needs plenty of data and text and isn't really bothered about many minutes of calls ...0 -
Requested my PAC yesterday, got a call from retentions in the morning, here is the offer:
£19 p/m
24 month contract
HTC One handset £50
600 mins
unlimited texts
500mb data
@vodafone insider or anyone else: is this a good deal?0 -
Seems a bit low on data0

Can I ask when your contract finishes please?
Everyone seems to be getting a call after requesting their PAC code - except me! Strange or what?0 -

After talking to a very helpful guy from retentions I ended up upgrading 2 phones ( one for my son and me! ) details as follows:
Samsung galaxy S4
Unlimited text
Unlimited mins
1GB mobile data + 1GB WIFI
£23.10 per month incl VAT
Plus the £9.99 Insurance(Which I'll cancel if Home Insurance covers)
Am very happy the staff were absolutely excellent in their dealing with me today, I phoned the 191 number and the lady kindly confirmed she could not match that deal but would have someone from the outward retentions department contact me within 10 mins which they did
Oh they also offered me a sim only deal on my hubbys contract 900 mins, unlimited text and 500mb data for £10.40 but as the phones playing up and still under warranty till Nov i'm holding off till its fixed before doing that one.
UPDATE: My house insurance covers the phones so I phoned 191 today to cancel the insurance policy's the adviser cancelled them straight away and was incredibly helpful. So I now have both contratcs for £23.10 a month0 -
Currently me & missus have 2 iphone (4 & 4S) sim only plans from VF but the contracts recently expired and this is what retentions have offered me and i gladly accepted:
unlimited calls
unlimited texts
2GB data
500mb wifi
+ free Sony Xperia L
+ free Nokia Lumia 820
£17 per month for each line on 24 month deal
As soon as the phones arrive, we'll get them unlocked by VF and then sell them - putting the cash towards 2 new iphone 5S or 6. The above allowances are on an iphone plan so we can continue tethering0
