Out of interest how long is it taking people to get a call from rententions once they order their PAC?

I got my PAC Monday morning...it's now Wed avo and still not had a call. And yes I've had my phone with me the whole time!

Think I've probably got lost in the system...

I got my PAC code 9 days ago and haven't had any calls from Retentions yet.

Second time requested pac no call first time i did

Do you mean that you requested your pac first time and got a retentions call, and then waited a month and requested pac again and that time got no call?

I'm requesting for the second time too. First time a month ago they called within hours, this time nothing for three days.

So perhaps they only call the first time you request?


Has anyone requested their pac for a second time and got another call from retentions? If so how long did they take to call?

How much leeway does the retentions team have on the SIM Only contracts? I have seen a few good deals posted here for £10 a month, but I am wanting to get a bit more data. I was hoping for the red £31 4gb data/month. Is it too much to aim to get this at 50% off (15.50/month)? This would be putting it down to what others ie T-mobile are currently offering (but before taking in to account any quidco cashback available with Tmobile).

After discussing this thread with my sister she was not due to upgrade till Oct but decided to do it early she just managed to get S3 for £18 a month over 24 mths - 500 mins, unlimited text and 500mg data with free phone :0)

I was due for my upgrade but was waiting till the start of next month as advised by vodafoneinsider i wonder now if i should give them a ring :0)
