Make sure you get everything confirmed in writing or by a e-mail. Vodafone are known to forget easily their promises.0

one thing to remember with vodafone, when the account is setup, it'll display the full price of the package you have and not include the discount.
so it'll show it at £38 and not £28. But when you get the bill to pay, it'll then deduct the discount you have been given.
Many people get worried when viewing thier account thinking the discount hasn't been applied.
but you should get a confirmation email which will list both the main price and the discount given. As long as you get that, everything will be fine0 -
I've just had my email confirming the 50% discount on the £380

Just wanted to report my retention deal I accepted a few days ago:
Sim only
12 months
900 minutes
Unlimited texts
1GB data
£13.40 per month
It doesn't include any wifi but I'm not bothered about that as everywhere I might need it normally has The Cloud anyway. I know I could've probably got something better with Giff Gaff or T-Mobile but Vodafone's £3 per day eurotraveller add on is invaluable to me and it leaves open the option of 4G (at an added cost I'm sure) at some point.
I had been hoping for a good offer on an HTC One but they couldn't do anything reasonable. Very disappointed that 18 month contracts no longer seem to exist.0
