My contract expires the start of june and i have come off the phone from vodafone CS dept.
Id like to say what truly a rude peson i spoke to.
I am currently on a very good deal after going through the retentions dept 2 years ago.
I rang up saying i wanted the same deal but with the new phone - HTC one.
Due to my current price plan he laughed off me having the same deal with this new phone as the handset was in excess of £500.
I said 2 years ago my handset was the same price and had just been released ( HTC Sensation ). He then had the nerve to say it was worth £200 2 years ago.

Vodafone - The customer is always right

Can someone from Vodafone contact me please to conclude this
    Thanks

Have you got your PAC code yet?, if not ring them up to request it, before ringing though take a look at all deals (3 are usually cheapest), tell them you are moving across (this will be recorded on your account)... Then wait a few days for Vodafone to start ringing you.

Apologies for the delay in coming back... The PAC code can be requested at any time during your contract, it is valid for 30 days & once you have it Vodafone, O2 etc. know you can leave at anytime, you certainly seem to be within your upgrade window so I'd say if you were to request the PAC they will do their best to keep you (in my case they gave it without trying to keep me, few days later the calls from Vodafone loyalty team started coming - this is the team that are above Retentions & have the power to offer really good deals), they ring from 0808024636 but its an outgoing number only... I don't think they have an email address that they can be contacted on... Another option is to ring Vodafone & ask to be transferred to Retentions

    Hi

Despite agreeing a deal on a renewable contract it would appear they are continuing to charge me at the standard rate.

Contacting them seems to result in even more confusion as you never seem to deal with someone with a degree of understanding of the issue and have to relay, again, everything numerous times.

Retention seems to be to get a customer to sign up and then not honour the agreed deal, I am frustrated in that this should have been sorted easily now.

Customer care and Vodafone do not equate I am afraid.
