Vodafone Retention Deals

I got PAC codes on Saturday for both of my contracts. Retentions rang me on Monday but when I picked up the phone, no one spoke and it got disconnected. I haven't received another phone call yet. Both of my contracts have expired today. Is it worth waiting for the call further? I was thinking of waiting till end of the week and use the PAC code if they do not ring me again.
From talking to friends this week that have threatened to leave Vodafone in the past, they have been known to keep ringing & ringing until they see you have closed the contract by moving or until you agree new contract... Then again, from my experience they were happy to let me go & from looking @vodafoneukdeals on Twitter they seem to have tightened up... PS post here please how you get on, would just like to see what some of their retention deals are, with myself I have bought a Virgin sim to test their signal in areas that I would mostly work/socialise & so far it looks promising...0 -
My experience with vodafone was much the same. Been with them for about 6-7 years and every time I have called up at the end of my contract they have offered a good deal. This year my contract finished at the end of January called up and there offers were nothing great, they could all be beaten going else where. I ended up getting a sim only one month contract from tesco and transferred my number. Guess what happened for the 3 days after my number moved vodafone called me at least 3 times a day. Why do they do this. if someone has moved there number there is a good chance that they have go a new contract and are stuck in 18-24 month term. Anyway I ended up getting a neuxs 4 and still have my tesco sim only0

Phoned to request my PAC as contract ends on 8th may and the best they could offer me was an iPhone 4 300min un texts and 500mb data for £26.
I'm not bothered about an iPhone I have an Expedia x10 at the moment and I love it but its past its best now.
If/when I do receive a call from retention s what kind of deals should I expect from an iPhone 4 or Sony phone. Don't use more than 150 min a month0 -

Had been speaking to cancellations/Retentions several times & nothing, missed a called from Vodafone yesterday so rang Retentions last night & they were very much tied in what they could offer me, very helpful lady did tell me though that it was the loyalty team that had tried to ring me & to expect more calls from them... Sure enough they rang today & am very happy with the discounted sim only deal I was offered & accepted... As for iPhones, don't think any of the networks do great retention deals on them thanks to Apple (I'm assuming Apple don't give the networks any discounts on their handsets)0 -
Loyalty rang this morning and I'm getting a Sony miro(not as good as my x10 but all I need) 600min,unlimited texts and 500mb for £12 per month. Really pleased.0

I guess the deal I am about to share now will amaze new phone lovers
Unlimited minutes, Unlimited Texts, 4GB internet
£41 per month
£59 for the handset
12 Months Contract
Pre-Ordered Samsung Galaxy S4!!!!!!0 -
It's time again to upgrade my phone. I called upgrade team today hoping to get a good deal on Samsung S4 on 12 month contract. But I was shocked by the offered they made to me. £47 a month for 12 months plus £200 for handset. That's even worse then what they are offering for new customer. Now I am trying my luck with web relation team and see what they can do.
But every year it is the same old routine. You have to go through all the loops before you get offered any thing half decent.0 -
600 min
Unlimted text
500MB data
£10.50 a month ; 24 months + a free Sony xperia miro (thrown-in by Voda but going straight to ebay)
If I could get £80 or £100 on the auction, that will bring the cost down to £7-£8 per month; more of less like a SIMO discounted deal which will offset the cost of the new iphone.
I got this deal about 3 months ago - sorry for posting this late.0 -
