Vodafone Retention Deals

I have a mobile contract in my name that my other half uses. It ends the two years in June though they say we can 'upgrade' next month. I think it's only about £11 a month and so the original handset was rubbish and was discarded long ago.

Do you think I'm likely to be able get a decent deal (she needs a new phone and the minutes/texts are sufficient) when I speak to them again or is it likely we'll need to look elsewhere? Don't want to pay any more per month but want as good a handset as possible.

I half expect that a new deal elsewhere with cashback etc via Quidco is likely to prove more attractive. Any ideas?

earlier this evening i renewed my wifes sim only plan with vodafone, took nearly 2 hours in all, firstly to online chat in India then transfered to UK sales/retentions, finaly secured the existing deal with a small monthly increase, they would not match last years price,

has anyone had any luck getting a good deal by adding an iPad to their existing account?
The only deal its showing me online is I'd get the 16gb version free instead of paying for it - tariff's the same though and there's no option for the higher memory ones

Just would like some info on how far I can push them before I call them up

Blimey - great offer. I am paying £38 a month for the 3g Galaxy S3 with one gig of internet, although get a 20% EAP discount on that. I got mine last July though.

i have to register through my sister in law who works for british gas for her to apply her 20 % discount on top of the £25 so i am well happy with deal

that means your S3 costs £20pcm after discounts applied etc!assuming its 24 months thats under 500 squid with a nice deal
