My Galaxy Notes arrived Wednesday
My online bill is still showing £34 instead of £26 as promised, but the guy did say it could take time for the correction to happen and 2x£26 to appear on my account.
Great phone BTW.

Due to pressure of work it was only this week that, on looking at my account online, I discovered that my contract (HTC desire) ended in December! My fault I know, but I was surprised that they hadn't bothered to contact me in the meantime as I was always likely to find out that, in effect, I was paying over the odds for the last three months.
So I emailed asking for my PAC code and they have now sent it back...no call trying to keep me, nothing. So, off to another network, just not sure which one yet. Shame really as I was likely to have stuck with them again.
You could always email their web team (the ones that run the Twitter feed) - they may be able to offer something.0 -
I currently pay £36pm, with 600 mins, unlimited text and 1GB of internet.
I was happy to reduce internet as my average usage is between 300-400 per month. I was after the 4s (currently have 3) but the only offer they gave me was the same at a new customer would get (300mins, 500MB internet and phone for £149), so i declined at this stage. They tried really hard to get me onto an 24month deal and offered me 600mins and 500MB of internet and phone for £59, again i declined. Was a little disappointed they didn't offer me anything other than those on their website for new customers to be honest.0 -

Yep, Twitter is a good way to go, or via the VF forum which is the route I took. I think it might be the same folk in both places.
They appear to be decent people, happy to phone you to discuss etc. Just ensure you get e-mail confirmation of any interesting deal, and if the e-mail doesn't appear, get back onto them and you will get it.
I know money is the important bit, but in comparison to the horror stories I read about 3's customer services, to be fair these people are in a different league!David.0 -
I went down the twitter route for my upgrade but when i received a call back the lady didnt offer me anything worth taking so I asked for my PAC which she gave me straight away.
I then signed up to Tesco mobile with the SE mini pro (250m, 5000tx, 500mb £10p/m)
A couple of hours later a man from voda called me and gave me a much better deal as i hadnt used my PAC yet (Would have had to wait for Tesco contract to arrive before using it).
I accepted his deal and called Tesco right away to cancel.
My deal is: 600mins, untld txts, 500mb data & *100mms for £13p/m @24months with the HTC desire s.
This deal is usually £26p/m + £3 for the mms.
*I asked for the mms to be thrown in as i usually end up with a few pounds worth charges on my bill at the end of the month for sending these.
So i now have a new decent handset on the way, have saved £7 per month on my usual bill and gained 100mms. Im very happy with that0 -
At the minute i can tell you vodafone will offer up to 40% off the termination fee maximum amount if you then upgrade with vodafone. also a 25% off the contract price for 24 months. So if your not far to go might be worth remember that.
30% maximum for a straight disconnection but difficult to get that without voda being at fault. They are only allowed to charge 78% of the fee maximum and cannot pressurise you to pay the term fee there an tha
can be put onto next bill.
Any questions feel free to ask. Someone who isnt me knows alot.
For real? Im desperate to leave but wanting to know the best way to go about it, I was due to upgrade in June, but its changed to August for some reason.. And the contract ends in Sept..

I renewed my contract in December with Vodafone alledgly I should have 2 GB of BT Open Zone access on my account. In reality it does not. This is because in spite of there being plenty of BT Open Zone "hot points" most of these are not actualloy usable by Vodafone customers. Vodafone do not inform you of this when you take out the contract. For the first three months of my renewed contract I had unlimited data allowance, so the didn't need to try the Open Zone.
When I spoke to (unhelpful) staff at vodafone, they refused to accept that the 2GB was part of my package- they did acknowledge my package allowed me access to it.
I have made a note in my calendar to move to a different network once my contract expires due to the very poor level of service I received.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0 -
Have read with interest different offers people have accepted from Vodafone. My current contract is up beginning of June and after visiting local store this week, they've told me the earliest they can talk to me about upgrades etc., would be 10 May. So was going to call direct.
I have two phones which I'm interested in along with knowing what I want. My question would be should I just call Vodafone direct, and if I don't get what I want request my PAC and wait to see if I get a call from the retentions team, or should I also then contact them via twitter and the VF forum that's been mentioned. If so, can anyone point me in the right direction for both the twitter feed and forum that's been mentioned in this thread? Thanks so much.0
