I've just upgraded (had a BB Bold on 18 month contract, £36/month, 600 minutes).

    New 18 month contract:
    600 mins
    unlimited text
    500mb data
    Free Samsung Galaxy S Plus
    £31 a month

I was happy with this, originally they offered me this over 24 months, but then reduced it to 18 months.

Overall quite happy with the phone, but the battery lift is woeful, doesn't even last a day!

I'm currently on a 12 month sim only deal (currently expired), 1200 mins, free Voda and free landlines for 25.99 a month. I've been offered nothing.

I found better deals with the virtual networks but Vodafone say all these companies are piggybacking off the main ones and therefore the service and call priority/quality is lower at busy times. They basically haven't offered me anything off at all.

I will wait and see if retentions try and call me, so far I have heard nothing.

So far best option seems to be to port number away and come back as a new customer, get 150 cashback but to stay on the same tariff I would now have to pay 31 a month and there's also a month notice. So I will be up only 64 GBP from 150 GBP cashback. Doesn't seem worth all the trouble really.

Here are the best deals I could find at the moment.

    TESCO MOBILE
    £12.50
    750 MINS
    5000 TEXTS
    12 month Contract
    500 MB Data

    TALKMOBILE
    £18 GBP
    1200 minutes
    3000 inclusive texts
    1GB Mobile internet data included
    6 MONTH CONTRACT

    VIRGIN MOBILE
    £20.99
    3000 MINS
    5000 TEXT
    1GB DATA
    3000 VIRGIN TO VIRGIN
    1 month contract
  • I am pretty much in the same boat as you. Vodafone SIM only contract has expired, asked for PAC code which expires on 8th November and have not yet been offered anything.

Was that a 24 Mth contract? Sounds like a good deal, even if it was. I hope I can get something like this! I'm going to call Voda in the next few days.
