I guess that's what they think of loyal customers, my friend got exactly the same deal and he only just joined.

Hi all, I've been with vodafone for 4 years and I won't be too disappointed if I leave. Just rang them to upgrade ( did the usual technique of selecting the option to speak to someone " if you are thinking of leaving us" ). They offered first the samsung wave - an ancient phone. Then I asked about the Desire HD. Currently I pay £27 pm and get 200 mins anytime anynetwork and unlimited evening and weekend calls, 250 texts and had £7pm off my bill for 21 months. They offered free phone, 600 mins, unlimited texts 500mb internet and all for £30pm - the same as the internet deal minus £99 for the phone.
Looking on here, that isn't a very good offer and the best people seem to be getting are the same but with 1gb internet + for £25 pm. Just wondering if there is anything I should know before the final step of getting my PAC code and leaving ( with the aim that they call me the next day)?0 -
Hi there,
I've just called upgrades, hoping for a Blackberry Bold 9780 and was ready to do battle! I currently pay £30.64 for250 minutes, Mobile Internet and 100 texts with Vodafone Passport.
So.......... I said I was only interested in the 9780 and was offered:
600 minutes
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Internet (500mb)
Blackberry Services
All for £30.65 for 24 months, I am happy with that and no battle was necessary!
Let's just hope it arrives tomorrow

 I was offered othing remotely tempting despite being a customer of ten years with two conracts on my account and possibly a third needed- i wanted a
Blackberry curve 8520
300 mins
unlimited texts
unlimited data
Got told they couldnt do this cheaper than £25.00 but i know can get it on T mobile for £20.42 via mobiles.co.uk... so i have asked for my pac code and i am off0 -
i got offered a desire hd, 600 mins, unlimited texts, half a gb for £25. asked for 1 gb to match t mobile through phones4u but wouldn't budge. asked for 18 months but wouldn't budge on adding a fiver. asked for pac! customer for approx 10 years, 2 mobile lines in my name and home broadband. once the 1st line goes the second will follow to the same network when the contract ends, when i have no mobile with them then the home bb goes from £25 to £35 which makes it about the same price as sky but without the sky tv, so the bb will get cancelled aswell.0
