Hi, was this for 18 or 24 months?

Forgot to add that. Unfortunately it is 24 months, couldn't get them to budge to 18 months without increasing the price to £30pm or a £120 payment for the phone.

Just out of interest how much was your contract before this?

I would jump at it if they offered me the same deal

I have been on a 30 day SIM only for around 18 months with Vodafone - £15 for 300 mins and unlimited text - and was looking to take 2 Blackberry's, one on a second connection.

Spoke to Upgrades, and the best they offered was a Blackberry Curve 3G 9300 for £25, AND a Bold 9780 with 600 mins also for £25 (on 24 months). They then offered the Bold on 1/2 price line rental for 12 months.

Asked for my PAC code, and shortly after got a call from Retentions. After a couple of days of haggling with them, they gave me the 9300 for £15 (300 mins), and the 9780 for £20 (600 mins), both on 24 months.

Both with unlimited text and unlimited (ie 500MB) data, with Blackberry services.

£15 before now, and £17.50 and whats even better talked to them and a big problem due to their mistake and asked if they would upgrade the unopened phone(saving it for my daughter when she returns from GAP) to an HD Desire which they r doing and all for £17.50
  • Does anyone know if Vodafone are still rigid with their prices on the iPhone 4?

I've called up today to cancel my contract and ask for the PAC, and after quoting the deal on Three with 2000 minutes, 5000 texts and unlimited data for £35/month and £69 for the phone, they didn't make any offers, nor attempt to talk me into staying, and made out that the PAC would be posted to me, rather than the disconnections department contacting me. Is this the way it normally happens?

At the moment I'm on 600 minutes and unlimited texts and data for £30/month. 600 minutes suits me fine, and I never send any more than about 500 texts a month, so would have been willing to negotiate. Ah well.

Python - The cancellations department won't offer you anything really. What will happen is that in a day or so, Retentions will call you, and they are the ones that can offer you the best prices. In the meantime, you will get the PAC code sent to you anyway.

Hi, enquired further regarding these deals and to get them for 18 months they would be £5 pm more expensive. I would also have to pay for the phone unless I took out the insurance at £10 pm.
Can anyone tell me how easy it is to cancel the insurance? Thanks
