12 month sim only
600mins xnet
Free vodafone to vodafone calls
1GB internet
BT Openzone wifi
Unlimited texts
For 15.32 p/m
I asked for them to do free 08780 and 0800 numbers but they wouldn't think I should have held out!!! I'm happy with the above though.
That's not bad. Last year (i.e. just about to run out) I had the 900 mins, u/l texts, internet for £10 for 12 months and 600 mins u/l texts for £7.5 for 3/4 of the contract then £10 for the rest.0 -
Just got a FAB deal from the Retentions Team
I've got 2 contracts with them (one for me, one for hubby, both in my name)
Just got -
Nokia 6303 FREE - 300 mins, unlimited text - £15.32 per month
Blackberry Torch FREE - 100 mins, 500 texts, BB email and internet - £20.42 per month
Total £35.74 per month -
Super happy as was paying just under £50 per month before
Is this for 18 or 24 months?0 -

I've just got 12 months SIM only at £10 per month for 900 mins, unlimited text and unlimited data (500mb fair use) from Vodafone. I told them about the Tesco deal at £10 per month for 500 mins, unlimited text and unlimited data (500mb fair use) and the fact I was currently paying £20 per month (up to £20.42 because of the VAT increase). The rententions guy asked if I would be happy to stay if he cut the price to £10 inc VAT.
I know the Tesco deal is a 30 day rolling contract but I'm happy for signing up to 12 months at £10 per month for more minutes and the data I can use with the laptop connected.0 -
Just managed to secure a new HTC Desire (free), 300 mins, unlimited texts and mobile internet for £15.32 a month from Vodafone. Spoke to renewals who offered £25.54 a month, declined and requested my PAC code yesterday and they called back today to say they'd match the deal my friend has with Orange. Really pleased as it means I'm halving my monthly bill from £29 which I've been paying for the last two years. :j0

Did you ring to request your PAC and they called you back, or did you ask for retentions or say you were thinking of leaving when you called them? When I mentioned the Tesco deal, the guy I spoke to said they weren't going to match it as it was "ridiculous"
I have a PAC expiring soon. I didn't move as didn't want to go to Tesco (no text delivery reports which irritates me: the prefix doesn't work on my phone) and have been ill, but want to pay less. Currently pay £15pm for 600 mins, unlim texts but no data and a £5 add on for 100 international texts, so it's over £20 a month. Even if I could down it to £15 with 500mb data that would be great but I never seem to get any success. Any tips?
When or what time to call?0 -

I asked for my PAC code and the lady asked why I was leaving. I told her about the Tesco deal and she said they couldn't match it but that someone would phone me to confirm I wanted a PAC code.
The next day, someone phoned me from Vodafone and asked the same questions. I told him about the Tesco deal and he said that it was a good deal and just offered me my current contract for £10 per month.0 -

I have been with Vodafone for quite a number of years and i can upgrade on-line on 17th January and i'm looking to get the HTC Desire HD phone. At present i pay £45 p/m for 900 mins, unlimited text and i'm not sure what my internet availability is but i do use it anyway (i'm what you would call an easy sale for Vodafone) but i want to change this. I have never haggled with them or anything else, do you know what the best deal for the HTC Desire HD is at the minute, i have a Nokia N97 mini?
What is a PAC code and also what sort of tactics can i use with them?
I would be grateful for any help0
