Sent an email to the WRT team as they did me an awesome deal last year so hoping they can replicate this year.
Thanks again,0 -
Got an upgrade from outbound retentions. Seem to be more upfront than last year and all notes on the system first time
Managed to get without trying
New HTC Desire Z free
On current £25 600Xnet, Unlimited Text, Mobile Internet and Passport on 18months contract. Added the 100 Non Geo Numbers ie 0800 etc included free
May have got the free voda to voda calls but i actually need friends and family so didnt change. Could have tried to push it for more but it was a very easy call so accepted this0 -
How do I contact the retention team?
Can someone provide me with an email address?
Thanks.0 -
If you call Vodafone Customer Services on 191 and choose the option for thinking of leaving and ask for your PAC code, you will receive a call from the Retentions Team in a few days time.
It would be a good idea to do a bit of research before you are contacted. Take a look at the offers from other networks, pick a deal you like and ask them to match it or make you a better offer.0 -
Hi everybody,
I currently have 2 lines with vodafone, 1 is due to expire soon and the other in about 6 months.
Both lines are £45 per month.
For the line that is to expire i did ring up upgrades a week ago and they offered me nothing!, as expected. I asked when I would need to give my notice to them to end the contract and they said on the 26th of december so I said i would get back to them,
I am looking to get a desire hd as a upgrade and not looking to pay more than 450 for the full duration of the contract including the price of the the handset if there was any,
What experiences have you had, what are the next steps for me?
Kind regards.0 -
I've given Vodafone the 30 days notice they require and I've got my PAC code. Up until last month I was paying £10 a month for 100 minutes 500 texts and the internet on my phone. This has now gone up to £15 a month. I must have been discounted on the internet package. Tesco are doing a deal just now. Sim only. 500 mins unlimited texts and internet £10 a month. What chance Vodafone matching this? Or coming close to it? I phoned Vodafone yesterday and the woman I spoke to just offered me the bog standard deals off the internet. Should I wait for them to phone me instead? I've been waiting a week so far.0

Sounds good!,
So did you say you were leaving? Or did you ask to be transferred to the retentions department?

Did you get internet with the wildfire as it will work out expensive otherwise. Got the same a while back through twitter0 -
Hmmm,
well ive recomemnded 2 new customers to vodafone both taking the HTC Desire HD.
We got:
Htc Desire HD (Free)
300 mins
unl text
unl internet
unl landline
£ 25.00 a month
What do you think?
Secondly i need another HTC Desire HD just not sure what to ask for as i need 2000/3000 minutes?
What price should i expect at best on a new contract?
Three have offered:
HTC Desire HD (Free)
Pay Monthly.
18 month plan
2,000 any network minutes
5,000 Three-to-Three minutes
5,000 texts
Uncapped internet
£ 34.00 a month?
Can this be beaten by vodafone, or is it worth it going with three?
Currently me and my brother both have vodafone contracts, and new contract if purchased with vodafone will be paid using the same card as the current..
What should i ask for or expect at best?0
