    Good Afternoon,

Thanks for your patience everyone, I'll reply to you individually below :)

Fila - I'm sorry to hear you're looking to leave. Obviously it's difficult to say what's been offered without knowing who you spoke to. If you would like me to re look into it for you, please contact me.

titch1644 - They do appear to be calls from our outbound team. We can stop your numbers from receiving the calls, simply contact us and quote WRT135 in the subject line.

BullyBear - I'm sorry you feel we don't want to keep customers, this couldn't be further from the truth. Upgrades are worked out on an individual basis which Ben has previously explained. I believe Paul contacted you earlier? We will always call as often as we possibly can.

sporty_han26 - Is there something I can help with at all?

Don't hesitate to ask if there is anything else at all!

    do i just use 191?
  • Following finally speaking to the PAC code retention Team I have been offered a I phone 4 for £89 and £35pm for 24m on the 600 mins deal saving £30 per phone. I took time to think and took the deal. That afternoon I received call from the web team wonder whether that was due to post.? All I can say persevere and get PAC code and they do better offers I also got offer on htc £30pm for 18 on 600 mins etc. I feel voda have lost sight of customers.

Well, your perseverance got you a £30 discount on a contract costing you nearly £1000 over 2 years. Another gold star for the Vodafone retentions team then...
  • As you aware no one is doing iPhone deals and we both wanted one. The closest was tesco mobile but a large outlay and the 2nd year would have been sim free at 20 per month and that is 180 pounds less but got the phone 130 pounds cheaper than the tesco deal I accept it's a bit more but I see that tesco are also getting bit of bad press on here also about useage.

I did get offered the htc much cheaper 90 pounds saving but we did not like the htc.

No one gets a really good deal now

I have spoken with three Voda retention staff over the past 24 hours. Each one offering me a different (and in two cases, a poorer deal) deals.
At present, I get a 50% discount off £20 PM for 600 mins, U/L text. So paying £10 PM. I wanted to bring my wife and grandson to Voda and asked what they could offer me. I was offered,
me and wife, 300 mins and U/L text for £9.99 PM each
grandson, 300 mins, U/L text and 500mb of internet for £9.99 Pm. All three contracts would cost me under £30PM. Happy with that. All on 12 month contract. Only problem is that I use 350 to 450 min PM.

So I agreed to change my contract and move wife over in Nov (when O2 contract ends) get GS's PAC and move him next week.

Then I see this thread and today's Tesco advert and think, hang on a minute! £10 PM for 500 mins, UL text and 500mb of internet. I'm now thinking I will move to Tesco for all three. Whilst wife and I don't use internet on phones, it seems a better deal to me.

My question, can I now go back to Voda and cancel what I accepted yesterday?

    ps, all on Sim only.

I currently have an htc innovation with 150 minutes and 500 texts on an 18 month contract.
As I am due now for an upgrade what is the best Smartphone/deal that I can get from Vodafone or should I look elsewhere?
  • Hiya

Yes you have 7 days to change your mind it's called a cooling off period. I was looking at tesco look at the fair useage and the capped issue read a thread on here.

    Good luck
  • Lowster ask for your PAC code and the htc desire 25 per month 600mins unlimited text and 500mg Internet or 20 for less mins. I would on only deal with the PAC code people

    All on 18m deal
