MoneyGypsy: I’m sorry about the issue regarding the discount on your account. I can see that Kirsty has already responded to your post.
Hi both reps. Thank you.
I'm not too fussed when things like this happen so long as they get sorted in a hassle-free way. I'll mention it when I get phoned about the upgrde.:A :A :A :A

I've just been offered the Samsung Galaxy 18 month agreement where the phone will be free. 600 anytime minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data for £35 a month. We would offer a £5 discount off this price for 15 out of the 18 months.
Is this deal any good?

Better than the deal they offered me
I got a whole £1 discount on the webprice! £29 a month for the standard 24 months, mins, text, data etc. After being with them for so long I was disappointed. I said you could get cheaper on 02/Orange etc and for 18 mnths but he just said there (VF) connection was faster and that's why they charged more. £30 a month for 15 months then £35 for the last 3 doesnt sound to bad to me. I only pay just under £20 now so jumping up to £35 a month is a bit to much.
CS was a nice guy but not really for offering much. Have got the date of him that I can request my PAC (24th Oct) so will start looking at the other networks, i'm not to bothered by the speed it's only for a bit of facebook and the odd google.
edit: sorry only just seen VF reply on other page, have sent an email off now.0 -
I spoke to a very nice guy on the phone yesterday and today, but in the end we couldn't do a deal.
I saw a chap on here got 600 mins, texts and internet with the HTC wildfire on a 12 month contract for £17.50 and said that I would stay with them if they could do this deal. But the chap said he couldn't and wanted to charge for the phone. I said that I would happily take fewer minutes but that was still no deal.
A shame because they obviously have nice people working for them, but I'll be asking for my PAC tomorrow - was run off my feet at work today so didn't have time to ring for it.:A :A :A :A

They actually got a Desire! Please let us know what "cancelations" offer you when you ask for your PAC. Be interesting to compare...
A desire was the actual one I wanted but was told that there was no way that one could be done. Oh well.:A :A :A :A
