I am so unhappy. I have been with Vodaphone for over 3 years now.. i was perfectly happy with them (except maybe for the annoying "you are one of our valued customers.. please open up another line" calls i would get ALWAYS when i was abroad), until my contract ran out last month. I was on a good deal, they got rid of, what apparently, was a discount to price plan from my last upgrade, and charged me £15 extra this month. When i phoned to complain, i was so heated, i asked to cancel and send my PAC code.

After a couple of days, i cooled down, and phoned up and said "i want to return to what i have been paying for the last 19 months, and get a free bb 9700". Man kept me on the phone for about 20 mins and said "sorry, i cant do that deal. i gues you will have to go to o2" (i have an o2 code for friends and family which will charge me £2 a month more than what i had with the vodafone contract).

I dont really want to leave vodafone.. i have been nothing but happy with them and was planning on holding off to upgrade till the storm 3 came out, but feel like not only have i been forced to renew my contract but when i ask for the same contract i got last upgrade (the bold 9000 which is what i have now, at the time was the same price as the 9700), i was told i couldnt have that and my PAC code came through the post.

Considering im supposed to be a "valued" customer, i dont feel very valued.

That's because they say that to everyone, standard way. :o

Due to renew 2 voda contracts in a weeks time, honestly not considering them again.

    Hi Espi,
Thanks for your concern, I have still not recieved my handset or a confirmation of dispatch so I phoned again today and spoke to a nice chap who informed me there had been a mistake by vodafone and the rep who processed my upgrade missed out a field on the form so it got cancelled (why they couldnt tell me this when I chased on Friday I have no idea!?) Anyway, he has passed this on and said it will be reprocessed and my new handset should be dispatched either later today or tomorrow but suggested I call tomorrow to find out. I am a little confused as to how when I called originally to upgrade I got a txt almost immediately to tell me my phone would be with me the next day, but now no once can confirm exactly when I will get the handset. Nevermind! Anyway, he was kind enough to credit me a months line rental for the inconvenience, lets just hope my handset it on its way.
  • Vodafone's retention team gave me a pretty good deal a few days after I asked for my pac code, £20 HTC desire for 18 months.

The only problem is that it's out of stock, was given a time frame of 3-5 days for delivery, but judging by some of the posts on vodafone's forum, I'm guessing it'll be a lot longer than that :(

Awful. I was expecting at least one phone call to try and keep me as they were so insistant last time.

ahh well, bye voda, hello o2!

Yeah... same here. After calling YET AGAIN to chase my phone they have finally admitted they dont have any in stock. Looks like a problem with their stock system as their computers are showing over 300 in stock but they dont actually have any. And then they had the cheek to tell me if I still wanted that handset i'd have to keep ringing to check when they had any in stock... WHAT?! Well I spoke to a manager who apologised and agreed to keep checking stocks for me but i'm not holding out any hope. I'm really disappointed with their service this time round, my order was accepted on Thursday last week and I was assured my phone would be with me on Friday, its now tuesday, my order isnt going through until they get any Galaxy S' in stock (which could be weeks) and if I hadnt phoned to chase them i'd have never recieved anything as it was cancelled! I think i'm going to have to call O2 and see if they can match the deal as this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth

I am on this fantastic £10pm SIM only 12 month contract which will come to the end of its 12 months shortly.

Low Price Reward Plan: 600 minutes + unlimited Vodafone to Vodafone calls, unlimited text + Vodafone Passport (SIMO YPL 600m UNLVF UTx 12m VP)

What I am not clear about is what happens at the end of the term. Does it simply roll on at the present cost or is it re-priced ? I have heard nothing from Voda, despite e-mailing them.

Think they got rid of most Desire, to make place for new Desire HD model. :j
