I have taken out a contract direct with Vodafone and have been told my Desire will be arriving on Saturday by Special Delivery. So Vodafone must have stock now. I was contacted by telephone by an extremely helpful person this afternoon who finalised my contract:

    18 Months, £25 a month for:

600 Minutes, Unlimited Texts, Unlimited Landlines, and Web Browsing 500MB fair use. This also included a free PAYG Mobile internet USB Dongle. The Desire handset is also free.

So with £150 Quidco and £56 for recylcling my old handset the contracts is worth: £13.55 per month.

If they had them in stock you would get it next day so they must still be waiting for stock.
Hope it comes in though. I have been waiting since 8th april!!

How did you get a deal like that, and when did you arrange it? How can you use Quidco on it without going through the website?

    No point at all.

I can't help it if I can get a good deal and beat people down. ;);)

However, the £160 offered by Orange via Quidco I used as a stick.

The PAYG mobile dongle was an offer on a coupon/promotional code website!!!
