Well I don't work for vodafone but I'm going with my gut feeling that you would like a call from them.

    Do I win a prize?

Well the Vodafone pees called me (chap called Martin) and I have gotten a fair deal over my current tarrif.

current (old) tariff: £24/month with 125minutes stop the clock + text + web bundle

new tariff: £25/month 300minutes unlimited texts and web bundle.

The desire handset is going to be free :)

Oh yeah, getting an 8GB card thrown in too :)

    Should ave mine Tuesday/Wednesday!

Yet they're still insisting to me they can't go any lower than £25/month and £72 for the handset!:mad::mad:

Edit: And my current contract is £40/month!
  • Did you use the guide above about the deal callbacks?

First thing Martin asked me was what kind of deal I was after and I said that I really wanted as close to my current priceplan as possible - I have been with Vodafone for many years though deal-hopping every 18-24 months! So I don't know if that changes things.

As long as they don't ring me - I'm out of the UK at the moment and don't fancy paying roaming charges while I try and sort out a deal!

    Thanks for the info robbiekhan.

This is closer to the value that other online deals are offering. I have had a good experience with Vodafone but the best they could offer following my PAC request was 300 mins, Unlim. text and web (500mb) for £30 per month on 18 months or £25 per month on 24 months with a free handset on either.

I'll email using the reference provided earlier, but if they can't better what I've already been offered then I'll shift myself and my wife to another network for a better deal.

Edit: Just got my automated reply, ref number MMM135 [#2391705]
