I had a year on a cashback deal, think it was 200 mins, then 18 months on 500mins, 100 text/unlimited internet for £17.50, then it changed to unlimited text for £20, generally kept within my tariff limits.0

Hey guys, i have been on a 30day contract with voda for a while now, after being on an 18month contact, i also have 3 numbers to my name. I was reading all this about the desire, which is a phone i am very interested in, but i am more looking for a sim only contract, 12 months preferably. Has anyone in here had any luck getting a contract like this from vodafone? My dad got a great deal when his contract was up to keep him there, but i feel i may have missed my opertunity with not being on a contract anymore!
Vodafone rep, would it be possible for something to be done here for me if i emailed in?
Thanks Everyone

I have had a contract with vodafone for the last 5 years now. However its not all bad news :-) In less than 3 months my contract is up and I can change to to O2 pay as you go. 15 pounds a month for 500 free texts.
Its amazing how a standard mobile phone contract bill seems to sneak up over the month.0 -
Been offered SIM only 12 months (they wanted 18 but got them down to 12)
1200 any time any network minutes, Unlimited texts, Unlimited Internet, Vodaphone Passport
£20 month any good?0 -
That seems like a pretty good deal. I would love something like that, but maybe only 300mins for me at 10 a month. Looks like you have a great deal there though. Did you call them or did they call you?0

Wouldnt want to be a vodafone shareholder(oh wait i am!), at those prices i cannot see how a profit can be made. 300 pound phone free with unlimited internet, more or less unlimited calls for £25 a month? Crazy.0

Why would I want to get in touch again Jenny? You read my previous post right?
I did phone and was (in other words) told I could have the deal thats on the website. So what would be the point of me getting in contact again?
Feel free to phone me if you have decent offer for me to consider on the Desire.
three1ne - I doubt you'll hear much more. I haven't had a reply to my posting on the previous page and they seem happy to let me move on to other pastures. What I don't understand is the complete lack of consistency between different retentions staff as far as what they offer different customers. All I want is to be offered what others here have gotten instead of being told that 'we can't do that offer'. Obviously they can!
If you want to email me voda - go ahead. I'm all ears.0 -
I agree Simon1. I could rant for a while but I dont mind going elsewhere.0
