Well after my own experience with retentions I refuse to accept anything unless it's in black and White.

Surely vodafone must do some kind of monitoring?

Anybody had this kind of experience with t-mobile?

Well I have had enough. After reading of some of the great upgrades people are getting on here and other forums, I rang to day to order my PAC number. The guy said he'd try and do me a 'really great deal' to stay after I told him what I had already turned down (which was £20/mth x 24mths PLUS £80 handset for 300 mins). Told him I objected to paying for the handset after seeing others who have not had to do so.

He comes back and 'offers' me - £30/mth x 24 months, free handset and 600 mins. Ooh - wow. The same as the offer on their website and MORE than the offer I turned down.

    What a joke.

Quick question for the VF reps who visit the thread. Will VF cut deals on refurb iPhones for existing customers ( like O2 do ) who are eligible to upgrade ?

    Regards.

Following the email I sent last week, I received a call from the web relations team yesterday and arranged for an HTC Desire for myself and my wife. Although not quite as good as some of the deals posted (I've to pay £63.61 for each handset) I was offered 300 mins, unl. text and web for £25 per month on an 18 month contract.

I did ask about the deal that robbiekhan mentioned earlier in the thread (free handset, £25 per month, 18 months) but was told that vodafone couldn't match it now as that promotion had expired on saturday.

Helen from Vodafone called, I wasnt available so called back and got offered a worse deal that is on the f-ing website AGAIN.

On the website £30 for 600mins UT UL.
I was just offered £30 for 300mins UT UL.

I only phoned up because I assumed I would have at least been offered something reasonable. Didnt try haggling as I'm not bothered.
