    Hi all,

There's lots of posts to reply to so I will group them all together into this reply.

    Too Loose -

I'm really sorry to hear about your boiler, car and lack of signal. You don't seem to be having much luck at the moment, but hopefully we can make it a bit better for you by inviting you to contact us to discuss contracts. We will also look into your signal issues and see whether using a SureSignal box is something that may help you. I'm positive that we can find the right deal for you.

    Kymie -

Did the store agree to send the phone back? If you could update and let us know we will help you further if neccessary.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have much joy dealing with our retentions team. If you have been scheduled for a call back from our Web Relations Team, they will be back in touch with you as soon as they can. However at the moment we are experiencing unusually high volumes of emails.

    Electric Warrior -

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any discounts on iPhone tarriffs. However, if you have been promised a reduced line rental, that should be honoured. If you would like me to look into this for and see what we can offer, then please contact me on the link further up this post.

    red_pad -

If you would like to contact us on the link above, we will happily look into this for you and see what we can do.

    Thanks,

    Hi there

I've just checked our emails from the 16th and we've definitely got yours Lara.

captain caveman - we don't have any emails from the 16th where someone identifies themself with your username so I can't say for certain if we've receved it or not. If you can let me know the reference number for the email I can track it down for you.

    All the best

Hi Espi. No the shop wouldnt agree to sending the phone back as of yet. Hubby did get through to an advisor yesterday (after another 30mins being passed from one to another) but found out the dept he needs to speak to was closed, however he was given a direct number (as he asked for it) which from the code was the Stoke centre,so he will be ringing them today. We did receive an email reply over the weekend but it asked for ALOT of personal info that we werent happy to give in one email,so we asked for them to contact by phone. Received another email saying they had tried - but no missed calls!?! So fingers crossed today it gets sorted!
  • Hi there,

My email was sent to you on the 15th and i believe the reference is #1946506.

If you require any more info just let me know and i'll attempt to get it to you.

    cheers Kirsty

Not sure what deal you got on the HD2 but alot of people have gone for the Virgin deal over on HUKD. Its £79 for the phone but its a 18 month deal, 500 xnet mins, unlimited text, unlimited internet, £25 pm and Quidco of £35. Equates to £27.44 per month. Enjoy your phone, still looking for a HTC Hero Deal.....

A good deal, but I need a few more minutes and Virgin are Out of Stock (as I hear are Vodafone). T-Mobile took my order late Thursday afternoon and delivered Saturday morning.

On T-Mobile I've gone for £31.50 a month on 18 months, 700 minutes, unlimited texts and internet. Phone £100 less £35 Quidco, and I still have £120 banked from flogging my old Nokia N95 8GB.

My PAC doesn't activate until Wednesday so have a few days to get the phone set up, contacts and calendar synced with Google (a doddle), various cab files still to install to customise the OS to my own preferences (can iPhone owners do that...?). I stuck with WinMo having tried Symbian for a year (oh dear) and realising that the army of hackers and developers make WinMo the most open OS there is - you can hack it however you want it. And if it needs to go back, the stock ROMs are there if you need to restore it back to original condition.

Initial imipressions are that its an amazing piece of kit - the screen is stunning, the camera is great and I'm already reasonably proficient with my first ever screen keyboard (coming off an HTC Tytn) which was my only concern going for this handset

    Thanks Espi,

like I said, I have contacted retentions (due to not wanting to be messed around any further) and after requesting my pac code, was not currently expecting further communication as Leanne said there was nothing else Vodafone could do for me.
I was also told i had previously been called back but i never recieved the call, or missed it, so Im not even sure I would know if Vodafone tried again!
