  • Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I have emailed with the requested details.

    Thanks
  • Ok folks - help me out please...

As above, I've been waiting to upgrade (and paying £10 more pm as a result) for a few months as I was waiting for i:phone prices. Not that impressed with them so wanting something else - perhaps the E72. Called vf a few days ago and was offered current contract (600 mins, unltd texts, unltd internet 18 months) at £35 pm. Fairly disappointed as I could get that as a new customer which ignores my 10+ years with VF...! It's even more frustrating given that my gf and brother have recently gotten new phones plus contracts cut quite substantially by Orange (gf now only paying £20! for similar contract). I'd be happy with something nearer £25. Any advice/ thoughts welcome.
  • Mate if I were you I would probs consider starting to build up ur loyalty with someone else. Its what I was considering but they called me and tried to get me to stay... and hence offered me a cheaper deal. Unless they do the same for you I would think about looking elsewhere and get ur pak. seems like loyalty doesnt mean anything anymore...

i've been with VF for sometime now, one reason i haven't moved is because parents are on an off-peak deal, which i hope to get them to change.

anyway, i've heard friends on orange and 02 getting loyalty deals time and time again, better than VF.

Contract expired a month or so ago. Only just got round to considering upgrades. Been looking at Iphone 3GS but wondering if I can get better offers through here?

I am also out of contract, so am looking to upgrade. All I've been offered so far is sime only 600 minutes and unlimited texts for £9.79 a month for 12 months, which is good, but I would like a handset.

I've been offered a rubbish handset, it really bumps up the price, and they immediately start talking about a 2 year contract as well.

I currently pay £15.99 for 1000 off peak minutes and 250 texts. I also add the £5 friends and family on top of this.

I would like to pay the same amount roughly, have some any time minutes (minimum 300, but would rather a bit more), unlimited texts, and a half decent handset.

I usually choose a handset with a decent camera on it (got sony's the past 2 times, camera has been brill although hate the handset I have now, and camera no longer works on it!).

I don't use the internet on my phone at all, but would maybe start doing it if I got a good enough deal/handset.

Am I likely to get anywhere in just trying to upgrade, or do people think I would be better off asking for my pac code?

If I get a pac, could I then use it if for example I then took out a deal on the vodafone site (going though quidco of course for a decent amount of cashback!), or going through somewhere like e2save?

Have never had a pac code before, so don't know these are used really. I would like to stay with vodafone, as kids are on it, and I also have their home phone and broadband so get a discount on this for having a mobile contract.

Apologies for long length of post!

i don't believe you can use a pac code on the same network, it's either an upgrade or a brand new number customer

a friend asked for pac code and went to a few phone shops as she had a handset in mind, and phones 4 u gave her the best price plan
