Hi, Well I thought I would try - as there is someone from Vodafone here - i may get some questions answered :) My 18month contract is nearing the end (end of March I think) I am currently paying £30 (£45 tarriff downgraded but same benefits - 600min, unltd txts, BB push email and unltd Internet). I am after the same tariff (same things included but would like to pay £20/month - plus a new phone - another blackberry). The reason I would like all that is because my family (with Orange) all got a new (latest handsets recently and had their contracts slashed from £35 to £20 and extra bits thrown in (memory cards, Bluetooth headsets, in car chargers etc).
Also I looked on other sites - dial a phone for example and I can get excatly what I am after through them on a new contract. So would any one advise if this is possible? I have been happy with Vodafone and would like to stay with them?
    Many thanks

£9.99 per month 12 month contract

Hey new here, im due for upgrade as well and got offered 600 mins and unlimited text for £9.99 a month sim only deal not keen on it though, got a brand new SE c902 when it came out 750 mins STC, 250 text for £20, 18 months ago.

if the minutes and text is enough you have a decent enough deal.

Not sure what is happening. My wife has now received her pac code & was promised a call from retentions for last Wednesday. No call has been received & contract is due to end 6th Jan. Not sure how keen Vodafone are to retain business? as we have been Vodafone customer's now for over 6 years & may still be open to offers.

  • I called vodafone earlier as keen to get an iphone. Vodafone have just launched their price plans and i am incredibly underwhelmed! The reason for sticking with vodafone and not going with orange, o2 (and tesco) was because i believed vodafone would offer better value packages especially given im a good customer and have previously been offered good deals to stay. I spoke to o2 and was offered a decent discount (on line rental and phone) which was better than the standard vodafone contract i was interested in - 600 mins, unlimited texts on 18month contract - this is quoted as £40 a month no matter if you are a loyal customer or a new one. Called them and they were not willing to give me any kind of reduction at all so are currently fair less attractive to o2. Almost certainly going to jump ship but have sent them an email as a last chance to keep me and to see if they will change their position.

Hi, I rang Vodafone this morning to upgrade my current contract and phone... I currently have a Nokia N95 8GB on a 18 month contract on Anytime 150 minutes for £21.28 a month which rounds up to £25 inc vat.
I had 2 phones in mind N97 mini and the Sony Satio and would have like to include unlimited internet usage as part of my contract..
The guy I spoke to said "lets see what we can do for you" put me on hold and after a couple minutes said " We can do the phone you want (Sony Satio) for £30 a month,600 minutes, unlimited texts etc" at this point I stopped him and said you are just reading this info from your websites home page which is a new customers offer so Im not really getting a good deal at all. I explained I could get a better deal for both phones at Orange, Carphone warehouse etc and he said ratherly condescending tone "we are in the middle of a credit crunch we cant let the phones go any cheaper than they are. Im not sure what you expect" I was quite shocked and just requested my PAC code and said I would take my business somewhere else and he said " fine"..
Im quite shocked at the attitude of the salesperson and how hit and miss getting the contract you would like when wanting to upgrade...as my sister only upgraded 3 weeks earlier with vodafone and got exactly what she asked for..
I dont really want to leave but since Vodafone dont really want my custom I dont see what other option I have..

I wonder when I will get this phone call to see what they can do for me? I was expecting it today.... looks like I will be requesting pac codes tonight, if no one rings me by 8pm.
