think you'll have to pay for a 3gs, but you might be able to go to somewhere like 02 armed with a pac code ready for a free 3g one though on about that price0

I've been upgrade-ready for a few months now but was waiting for i:phone deal details. Having seen them now I'm not all that impressed so not sure what to go for now...?! Also pretty annoying because I've been paying £40 pm for last few months after my £30 pm previous upgrade deal 'ran out' (which I hadn't been aware would happen!! Although I'm assured it would have been on the 'paperwork', not that I recall seeing any.)
I've also missed a few calls from an "08080011102" over the last two days which I think may be VF but does anyone know?!
Anyway, any VF reps out there want to offer me some advice/ offers/ help?!0 -
yep thats vodafone i missed their call as well!0

you want to talk about service leaving a bad taste in your mouth... try this.
Been a vodafone customer for 6 years going on 7, rang them earlier to find out about billing and enquire contract details and when it is due to end etc.
Previously I got:
500 mins anytime + 1000 texts + vodafone stiop the clock (all part of contract really really really old tarriff) and vodafone passport, usually this costs £35 but i got it for £12.50 for 12 months. including free internet for 6 months.
After a while I cancelled the internet as I changed phones and found it was not required.
Anyways, they told me my contract expired 2 days ago and they can put me through to upgrades to discuss a new better deal... so thought why not... got transfered through. spoke to the agent. advised him what I got last time, and I would be happy if I got the same again... to which he offered 600mins and unlimited messages for £15. told him no thanks, I want STC as its important to me, and also would like free internet as planning on getting iphone on payg to use on this contract. If he can do it for £15/month then I will take it. but he said no and said he has just requested my pak and it would be with me in 2 days?!!! I didnt even call for my pak!! let alone want to speak to him in the first place...
(on top of that I didnt bother telling him that my friend wants to regrade too, so he could have very easily had 2 contract upgrades...)
6 years with voda and thats the service I get.... I didnt even want to leave but maybe's it is a blessing in disguise that he ordered my pak for me...0 -
Don't worry turbocat, it's just a sales tactic. Once you've got your PAC, keep it - and within 2/3 weeks THEY will ring YOU!
THATS when you can really haggle, it's not much use when you ring them. SO you need to be ready for that call.0 -
