Vodafone Retention Deals

The software patch came out yesterday for the Satio. Plus I've only really bought it for the camera, and the consensus seems to be that it is it's best feature, so I'm quite happy thanks. Plus it seems to be performing fine on Vodafone. Seems to be an issue with the software other companies have put on it.0

well I hope the patch sorted it out whatever it is - SE's (and Sony's for that matter) history with software isn't great - the Xperia X1 had issues and while Aino rumours were false, it's not a good time for the brand right now in the advanced smartphone stakes..."Who throws a shoe, honestly?"

update - I haven't seen an email from you although one of my colleagues may have replied to you already, can you let me know if you haven't received a reply?
sometimesaver - I'd love to see what we could arrange for you, as this is account specific could you please email me using the instructions in my previous post? Don't forget to add WRT135 in the subject line so the email comes to me directly.

Not been on here for few days. Came on to reply - Voda emailed me the day after my request, stating that my contract would end on the day I had requested (12 month point). Thanks - credit where it is due - well done Voda.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -
My OH and I both have a £25 Vodafone contract each and were looking for 2 additional contracts for children. I was offered 1 sony ericsson W595 and 1 sony ericsson C510. Both contracts are for 18 months - £10 first 15 months and £15 last 3 months. 300 minutes , unlimited texts, no internet or any other extras. I took these and they arrived today.
After reading some of the deals on here I am thinking I didn't really get a good deal considering we now have 4 Vodafone contracts. Quite happy with the W595 but not sure about the C510.
Is this deal ok? Could I still return any of them? Any advice would be appreciated.

Just been offered on 18month contract:
600 mins, Unlimited text, unlimited internet, N97
for £29
Anyone got better than this?0 -
I could do with some help concerning my package with Vodafone.
My contract is due to come to an end with them on the 23rd of March next year although I have been told that I will be able to upgrade my phone from the 23rd of Janary.
My current package was offered to me at a special deal where for £29.79 per month; I get 700 minutes, Mobile Internet, Unlimited Landline Calls, 250 Texts with Vodafone Passport.
I've checked the other packages they offer and I'd say that this is definitely better than what's available from them at the moment.
Phone-wise, I'm looking at getting the HTC HD2 as the Omnia II doesn't look like it'll be available through them and I've read a lot of good things about it.
In any case, does anyone have any advice on how I can get a good deal where I can keep my current package which is a 18-month one but have it slightly cheaper as well as get the phone that I want.
Also, when would I need to notify Vodafone about my request for a upgrade/discount on the package.0 -

Thats not to bad....
I would try and push the vodafone retentions team for the same deal for £15 per month, thats £10 off the current price.
Oh and mention to them that the price plan you have been offered comes with Unlimited Calls to Landlines, just double check your getting this.
I personally got a £10 discount off my line rental on a sim only deal 12months.
I got the following for £10 per month - normally £20 per month.
900 Anytime Minutes
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited Mobile Internet
Stop the Clock - Got this FOC due to having a laugh and joke with the advisor on the phone, normally £5 per month.
Let us know how you get on.0 -
