    they are useless now

    SUN PREPAID| Limit £O - balance £800CR
    JD WILLIAMS | Limit £320---£800 - balance £10
    Next | Limit £3500 - balance £ 0
    Savings - £3350
  • Had to ring retentions and got this deal which is slightly better than the deal I had seen at phones4u.

    N97 mini black (free)
    12 month contract
    600 mins
    unlimited texts
unlimited data (internet / email etc)

    £39.16 a month

I'm happy with this as I do not sign up for any longer than 12 months just in case things happen with phone or my circumstances change.

    Hi

Do Vodafone do stop the clock anymore?

    Good Evening lilladay,

We do still offer Stop the Clock but it is no longer built into any priceplans and the service is £5 per month. Also, Stop the Clock won't work if you already have unlimited Vodafone or landline calls.

p1tse - SIM Only contracts run on a monthly basis which means you aren't tied in for a lengthy period of time. After 30 days you can cancel if you want to or you can upgrade! As your contract has ended you will be able to move to a SIM only plan.

    Best Wishes

  • hi everyone!

can anyone suggest a good fliptop mobile handset?? im very keen with it as I am not very good in handling my mobile plus i can just toss it inside my bag and i hate myself everytime i scratch the screen!

ive been with vodafone for the last 8 years and i can say they made a good money from me due my high international phone bills (when ur desperate and its an emergency you dont have a choice but use it)... its about time to look around...
i wish i have live my life a little bit off the book, took a chance and gamble

Your best bet would probably be to get the most expensive handset you possibly can - then sell it on ebay, for the maximum money and buy a flip phone - flip phones are generally quite cheapish phones anyway.

Also next time it would be a better to ask them to add vodafone passport to you account.

Research the deal/phone you want - take it to Vodafone and ask them to beat it, they will do. Vodafone is definitely very close to O2 (which IMO is the best), I'm a happy customer with them.
  • thank u rash...

i guess they dont do much flip phones nowadays. i can only think of blackberry flip phone but even that is is too big for me and doesnt appeal to me big time.

i already have passport on my account. but nobody suggested that during the times when i was really in need of it so that was months of months of wasted money.

vodafone signal i cannot fault but their service is really rubbish. u will not get anything from them or any help. they just dont know how to take care of their customers and it is sad cos after 8 years i just have to move when my contract expires in months time.

Upgrading within the last 30-10 days is when you get the best deals. Sure you can upgrade 70 days beforehand but they don't offer you any good deals then.

Vodafone passport is normally free isn't it?

    Hi jazzconfused,

I'm sorry to hear that you want to move away from Vodafone, is there anything that we could do to change your mind?

With regards to your international calling.Do you call abroad from within the UK?

If so, Passport will not work in this case. You can find information about international calling charges here.

Sadly there are not many flip-top phones on the market anymore but I hope you manage to find one that suits your needs.

    All the best,

    Espi
