  • Got my PAC code today via text then about 2 hours later some cocky little sod at the call centre called and told me that the only way I would get a new decent phone would be to go on an 18 month contract. Also what really bothered me was that he said that I don't have a contract for a set time period but I am allocated minutes and texts for the year which I can use up to that specific limit.

Quick conversation as I had allready recieved PAC code I asked him what he actually wanted so conversation came to an abrupt end :D

    Hi

On Vodafone £10 a month 30 day rolling payg contract 100 mins/300 texts - started in September.

Said I wanted to leave and bizarrely, they offered me

150/500 plus either the Samsung H1 or the Nokia N85 for £15/month for 18 months.

I've come to the end of my contract and was offered a sim only 600 mins, unlimited texts for 12 months for just under £10/month.

I really like this offer but do you think I could get internet on that tarriff as well? I'm not fussed about unlimited texts as I only use about 100 - 200/month, or do you think thats asking too much?

I'm tempted to go with Three 30days rolling contract with 300 mins/unlimited texts/unlimited internet for £15 but then I would have to buy a 3G compatible phone too although having a rolling 30 day contract would be wonderful.

Just wondering if anyone else has got a deal similar to the one i'm looking for and at what price? It's all very confusing this.. I keep going round in circles as to what to do :rotfl:!!
  • i asked for my pac code and they just said they'll send it out to me without really offering me anything back.. whats the chances i'll get a call back?
  • Was not offered anything when I called but had them ringing me within a few days of PAC request. Best offer was Blackberry Storm 2 600 mins, unlimited texts and internet / email plus Blackberry pack for £30 per month over 18 months (discount for the full period including last three months). Is this any good as I don't seem to be able to get this even on a cashback deal?

    Hey All.

Just a little bit of advice.

I have a 18mth month contract with vodafone and tomrw will be the 15th month (in which I am elegible to upgrade).

What do I do to speak to their outbound service?
Do i ring up ask for an upgrade, say no and request my pac code or do i wait till they ring me?

Please answer ASAP as my phone has just broken and need to get it sorted ASAP!

You won't get a decent offer until 30 days before the end of your contract.

I would leave it until then, all you'll get now is standard offers.
