You're kidding?! you got the satio on that deal mate? that sounds pretty good, especially with the 16gb card.

Did you have to put up much of a fight to get it?

No need to put up a fight. Rang three times.
1st time got the deal above but they wanted £60 for phone (make sure you have got another deal at hand from orange/t-mobile to presure them)
2nd time just ask for the PAC code they will give it to you unless they improve on the above deal and you are happy with it.

3rd time they will ring you and ask why you have asked for the PAC and this is your chance to basically ask for anything you want.

    Deal done!:j

The upgrades will all be sh*te mate... only chance of getting a good deal if on retentions.

You can request your PAC code at any point but have to pay up your remaining contract.

What most people don't know is if you cancel your contract early then you only have to pay up your contract MINUS VAT and MINUS 25%.

So if you are on £30 a month contract and leave with 60 days to go then you only have to pay £37.13 rather than £60.

I checked my account last night on line and my new deal has been updated as 24 month contract and not 18 as agreed over the phone.

The phone has not been delivered yet and it is supposed to be delivered today.
I have sent an email requesting confirmation of the deal in writting. They are supossed to ring me this morning

Now of course i can cancell the deal but is there anything else i can throw at them to get them to honour what was given over the phone?:huh:

I've noticed that on their codes for each tariiff mine says 24 but i've been told and confirmed by text and email its only 18
  • I'm due for an upgrade and like the look of the Samsung Jet. Has anybody had any good deals on that. I don't need many minutes but would like unlimited texts. I'm currently paying £25 pm for 150 minutes and 500 texts - not good I know!

Is this only the case with vodafone?
