Vodafone Retention Deals

I'm on the n96 for £25ish a month unlimited texts and 300 mins and unlim internet, started wokring for 3 and i want a new handset asap no bothered if i have to go onto a new contract with voda at a cheap price to get a handset as i'll be getting a free sim from 3 with all the texts mins and int i need. Contract doesn't end till april though and I phoned up today they said the ealiest i could upgrade would be the end of january which i figured bu the guy said the best i could do would be £20 per month for something not as good as the n97. If i was to do a 6 month extension just now i'd have to pay ~£440 for the n97! That's with £60 off, any ideas? Or should i just buy an unlocked iphone outright when my contract ends with voda, perhaps clear the contract off when i get my 3 sim and get an iphone or something then...?

The family has 3 accounts with Voda but Virgin are offering alot better deals at the moment so they have lost 1 account with the other 2 lining up to be changed! Vodaphone would not even come close to what Virgin offered

The 2nd deal is not very good. You'd pay £29.70 x 18 = £534.60

On 24 months you'd pay £25 x 24 = £600

So on the 24 month deal you'd only be paying £65 more for the last 6 months - about £11 a month.

Hi,

That would mean he pays £4.70 extra for 6 months, so in total £28.20. Basically you pay £28.20 to upgrade/end the contract 6 months early!

I was on the phone to Voda yesterday and was offered:

Free Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition
600 minutes + txts
£20 a month for 18 months

The only condition was that I had to take out the insurance for a month which can be cancelled!

Is that a good deal? I like the W715 for 12 months deal...going to mention it to them today, god willing!

PAC code expire two week time l haven't receive any call from vodafone , may be time for a change

I am due to upgrade as my contract ends in two months.

I would like to have the SE Satio so i gave them a ring. Chatted to a guy called Mike who after a long friendly chat offered this deal.

unlimited internet
18 months contract
£25 per month
£60 to pay for the handset.

I didn't take it but asked him to save it on my account. I would have taken it if the handset was free but i guess it has given me something to work with.
Anybody got anything better on the Satio?

Read on HUKD today someone got the HTC Magic 18m x £17.50 a month. 300 mins, unlimited text and internet.....

If they had offered me this I probably would have stayed with them but they try and rip you off and now i've got me a HTC Hero on T-Mobile... very happy.
