My 18-month contract (300mins unlimited texts, free samsung) is almost over and I was looking to see if anyone knew if they would give me the blackberry bold for free on 24months with 300mins , unlimited texts and net for £25.
Gonna call tomorrow but dunno if I'm chancing it here lol
The flip side of sanity is the game.

I was told not by Vodafone. I thought of going sim only to another network with my PAC, via Quid co, for a three months, and then reverting back to Vodafone (after requesting another PAC from new network as I'd only be on a 30 day sim only deal) but continued discussing with Vodafone as life can be complicated enough without trying to complicate it more by swopping ever few months. Just remember always be pleasant to them . I find that way (not that I'd be unpleasant anyway ! ) you can/will get offered a better and acceptable deal.Suppose (?) you could try ordering via quidco and link to Vodafone website and put in your PAC and see whether it would work

I've had a look on vodafone's site and they allow you to transfer numbers between accounts - has anyone tried this - I *think* I could start a new account, give notice on my old account and transfer the number from my old account to the new one, thus gaining the 90 quid quidco cashback, although maybe having to pay a month where the contracts would overlap.
    Anyone tried this?

Hey Tyler, let us know how you get on, I havent been offered anything better yet, so will seriously think of leaving them. Though doubt i'll go with any dodgy cashback mobile phone companies, probably something through quidco instead.

Latest offering was a Nokia 5800 w 600mins / unltd txts for £20 pm over 12 months or £17 over 18 months. The guy I spoke to said they have to (at least) cover the cost of the phone. Might see what they can offer on the 5530

I'm currently on a 30-day rolling contract, paying £20 for 600 minutes and unlimited texts. I also pay £5p/m for the data bundle (500GB I think). Does anyone know what the lowest cost would be for the HTC Magic with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data?

This question is aimed at Vodafone (preferably retentions) staff.

    Ideally 12month contract.

I have been offered 600 minutes, unlimited texts & data on an 18 month contract for £25p/m.

    Can this be improved upon?

    Thanks

    Lester

As far as I know, there are no Vodafone staff (retentions or otherwise) that post in this thread.... so you're out of luck.

Is that 12m or 18m Nigel?

I assume 12m? If its 18m the its a rubbish deal IMHO.

Does anyone know if you can use a Vodafone PAC and then input it on a Vodafone new customer deal, to get your Quidco cash back (regardless of whether it pays out or not) and get the new customer deal?

That aint no problem! Just port your number to say a free virgin simcard and then get a PAC code from Virgin back to Vodafone.

    Problem solved.

Also just to add, Vodafone don't seem to be budging, they have so far offered me crap deals to be honest. Not even worth mentioning.

However, I'm also with O2 CPW and they have offered me 400mins, 1000txts and 1 free bolton £30 per month plus £450 cashback therefore £5 per month over 18 months (never ever had a problem with upgrade deal from O2 CPW) - this was today and the first time I rang them about an upgrade since I've been eligible to upgrade. This puts offers from Vodafone into perspective.
