Ha ha :rotfl: Sorry, I just rotfl at that one.

To be honest mate, done properly, you are more likely to get cashback through the reputable phone companies than you are through Quidco.

Quidco can decline you without giving a reason and you can't do a thing. The mobile companies can be taken to court if they try it on (and you have correctly jumped through all of their hoops)

I have to disagree with that.

As long as you know how quidco works then you will be fine (I mean how it works techincally.)

THe first and foremost thing to do before using quidco is CLEARING your browser history - that is the most important step, log in (making sure you click remember me), and then going to the website.

Quidco is far more reliable than cashback. You can't blame quidco if you made a mistake.

    Hey Morph,

I know what you mean, i guess its just going by personal experience, Quidco has paid up every time and resolved any issues i've had quickly. Whereas friends have had issues with mobile cashback companies. We'll see though, I just want the best deal and will see if vodafone improve their offer.

    Affraid you missed the point...

Even if you do things correctly, you are relying on the merchant to approve your cashback. I'm not saying they are likely to decline it, but if they did then you have no comeback...

I can't be bothered to check but i'm sure on the Quidco site it says something along the lines of "cashback is never guaranteed"...

    Anyway we're off topic now...

Does anyone know if you can use a Vodafone PAC and then input it on a Vodafone new customer deal, to get your Quidco cash back (regardless of whether it pays out or not) and get the new customer deal?

I was told not by Vodafone. I thought of going sim only to another network with my PAC, via Quid co, for a three months, and then reverting back to Vodafone (after requesting another PAC from new network as I'd only be on a 30 day sim only deal) but continued discussing with Vodafone as life can be complicated enough without trying to complicate it more by swopping ever few months. Just remember always be pleasant to them . I find that way (not that I'd be unpleasant anyway ! ) you can/will get offered a better and acceptable deal.Suppose (?) you could try ordering via quidco and link to Vodafone website and put in your PAC and see whether it would work

I agree with tmsphilip. Unless things have changed, you didn't used to be able to use a PAC from Vodafone on a new vodafone deal.

Also, be careful as CPW, E2Save and some other online places don't let you bring your own number with you to certain networks.
  • Has anyone on the £20, 30 day sim only contract with Vodafone managed to get free internet added on?
  • I am currently seriously considering cancelling my contract with Vodafone.

I have tried to get in touch to change my contract but I have constantly been kept on hold and when I tried to contact via phone, I got some very wooly answer about how I can now upgrade my phone now?

I know I can't really beat vodafone for reliabilty of service and network coverage but my experience of customer service has been terrible.

Currently on a £35 p/m Contract with Vodafone
    600 minutes
    Unlimited Texts
  • I suggest it's best to just wait until Christmas and see what offers are available.

Hi, Just wonder if anyone can advise if this deal is any good ? N97 with a fee of £62.00 then a 2 year contract 600 min unlimited texts plus data for £25.00 pm. Is this good or should I try and push for the phone free ? Should point out that I have just upgraded from a sim only deal of £10.00 pm.
