Hi John,

Hi & thanks for the reply
I might ring them back and have another go at a better deal ( or i might wait till the lad rings back )
I did try for it at £9.78 but they said hey didnt do that deal, however i have just found if you go through Quidco you get £100 which makes the £20 PM £10........R.I.P Sam, still in my heart0 -
John,
the reason I did not accept there and then was that I am thinking of going to O2. With the Quidco cashback, it looks a good deal to me. The advantage of a 'bolt on' of UL calls to LL.0 -
Hi Norman
Yes agreed, the 02 looks very good , ive rang them again and they are saying the £14-69 is the best they can doR.I.P Sam, still in my heart0 -
I rang on saturday to confirm everything was as discussed, but there was no record of the credit note. The woman I spoke to said she would escalate it to the next level. Obviously I heard nothing back, so rang tonight. To be told there was no credit, and none would be applied.
But I could ask for a recording of the conversion at the cost of £10 if I wanted to, he said. What exactly did they do when it was escalated? The guy couldn't tell me. Did they actually do anything? He couldn't tell me.
When I challenged the fact that either way I would be down on what had been promised, either by the full £50 or by £10 he hastily said the £10 would be credited back should I prove to be correct. I don't believe them. And as I have to write, it will take me beyond the 7 day cancellation period. Vodafone are in the stronger position all round.
I have got a couple of days to think about it, but I don't see any reason why I shouldn't cancel and go else where
All sorted now, they have extended the £15 to cover the full 12 months:T
Next time I will get them to email a confirmation of the offer through before i accept anything I think0 -
Hi I have just been offered samsung tocco for £25 (including VAT) a month with 600 anytime/anynetwork minutes, unltd texts, unltd internet and 2 x 4gb memory cards on a 24month contract.
I currently have N95 8gb 250 mins (stop the clock) and 500 texts £25 a month which has recently ended. Dont really want a 24 month contract but bloke was not for budging. To be honest not really convinced that i want a samsung tocco (bloke described it as this brand new samsung with an amazing camera-tsk?!)My previous experience with samsung camera phone is pretty kak quality.
Any1 think this is a good offer-or any1 think the tocco is a good phone? TBH i love my n95 but its dropping to bits
Any recomendations to any particular phones- i use my n95 like a camera it currently has 1600 pics/vids on it, i never use it for music, and would quite like to use internet. Hoping they ring me back....my pac code is on its way (have already sent my cancellation letter-surprisingly they say they havent received it!
Many thanks0 -
I got same deal, minus cards with HTC magic, 18months. I just said I wasn't interested in 24months, and that was with a month to go on previous contract.
I previously had N95, which I loved, thought they still offer them, just get a new one, bet it would be cheaper.0 -
Hello,
My 12-month contract with Vodafone is nearing the end and was wondering if anyone has received any good retention deals from Vodafone? I am currently on the Anytime 125 contract, which is 125 mins and 250 texts for £20 per month. I am hoping to get something similar for a little cheaper. Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Are you desperate for a new phone? If not why not ask them to switch you over to a sim only plan? You'll get 300 minutes and unlimited texts for £15 per month, and the benefit of a 30 day contract
