hardly worth posting on this subject coz it must be that (for retention deals) they look almost solely at yr previous monthly spend & texts to see if u go over yr minutes etc... & then work out individual packages as per client.,...

    Vodafone have the n95 8gb refurbished free on £30p/m - 12months.
    You get 200mins & 500txt.
  • I'm currently on a sim-only deal (£10 a month, 75mins) and have been for about 8 months. I need a new phone and some texts added. There's no contract with this sim-only, effectively a 30 day contract.

Whats the best deal i can hope for?

well I think Vodafone just lost my business, all they would offer me was half price line rental fixed for 12 months. For that same amount I could get more minutes/texts on a sim only deal with no fixed 12 month contract.

So sent my fax to cancel my contract, probably off to o2 or 3 now, shame as vodafone service has on the whole been fine for me.
  • Hi

I have just cancelled my 12 month Vodafone contract as I am entitled to do and as part of the cancellation I was put through to a department who tried to sell me another contract. But my circumstances are now different so I passed. I thought that was the end of it.

But now I am getting endless attempts to contact me from a number 08080000133 which from searching is Vodafone retention team (or as they have become known in our house hold the "harassment" team).

I am literally getting 40-50 calls a week - it is an auto system and I answered the first few not knowing who it was but was cut off. I am just ignoring them now but they are still coming.

Anyone any idea what I can do re this as it is becoming very annoying as to the number and persistance of these calls. it is really putting me off considering Vodafone when my situation changes that I need a new contract.

Answer it and tell them to take you off their calling list! Ignoring it will not make it stop.
Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...
  • I have tried to answer it several times but the line just goes dead....
