  • Hi

Think I got a pretty good deal today. I have been speaking to VF for a week now for an upgrade. Yesterday I requested my PAC as they wouldnt do me the deal I wanted

Today I get a phone call from them and got

    Nokia 95 8GB - Free
    12 months Contract
    500 mins 500 texts
    £35 per month

I am pretty happy with that!

He mentioned a scheme called "deal match". Where a new vodafone customer can get the same deal as me if I refer them - let me know if anyone is interested ......

All in all I am pretty happy! The first time I phoned up they would only offer me this phone free on a 24 month contract!

    Hi
I recently decided to cancel my expiring contract with vodafone and go onto PAYG.
I was paying about £25 pm and never using my minutes.

I emailed Vodafone and recd confirmation of my cancellation.

Some days later i got a call from them asking why i was cancelling contract. I explained that i was a light user and didnt want to pay £25 Pm.

The guy then offered me 113 mins cross network and 100 txts for £10 pm inc vat.

Which is cheaper than the PAYG call rate
  • I was looking to get Nokia 6500 classic + free Wii but have been put off by poor reviews of these websites / deals / freebies (I don't want to have any hassle or wait for 4 weeks for my wii).

Last night I rang up Voda and requested my PAC, about to change networks... but today they rang me and offered me a deal that sounded pretty good...

    Free Nokia 6500 classic + 120mins + 1000 txts @£15 p/m for 18m :)

If anyone else is interested in this deal (you can prob get a similar priced phone instead) then PM me and we can split the £50 referral bonus. So you will get that deal + £25 cashback straight from voda

I get 250 minutes + 250 texts for £10.34 a month, for the life of my contract with Vodafone.

They messed up when i joined 5 years ago and gave me this deal....
Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean Easyjet aren't out to get me
  • This is a great thread and i still cant decide whether to keep both phones i started a new contract with Three cos Vodafone didnt do the Viewty unless i wwent thro fones4u @ £35 and i must say i didnt like their attitude either !!

I think you tell vodafone about recommending the deal match offer to another customer.A few people have mentioned it in the vodafone retention thread
