Hopefullyuseful1, I have just received a new contract 125 mins with STC and 250 texts for £10/month on a 12 month contract with a Nokia 6300. I am happy with that, but I would like my wife to use the phone too. she is on o2 at present but after her contract ends hopefully she will move to Vodafone. I tried to get the phone unlocked so she could use it too but I was told the phone had to be 12 months old, yet I have been a Voda customer for about 5 years. Is that right?0

Hi tripleh, yes that's correct. If your handset is less than 12 months old a charge of £19.99 including VAT applies. If the handset is older than 12 months then we can unlock it for free.0

HU contacted me back thanks for that, but collections askin me to pay a balance off on a contract I dispute was never enforcable in the first place with a 20% credit is just insane ?? more so sent to collections 4/5 days after I wrote in as advised by Otelo with thier ref number to sort the complaint out, Vodafone deny an written corrospondence from me over 6 months ???? Otelo were contacted later that day and a full investigation is going to take place, awaiting a copy of the complaint to sign & send back to Otelo
thanks HU but your company cannot even follow Otelo protocol & contact me after thier intervention
Hi Diamonds, I think it's best you reply to our last email to you and we'll discuss your account directly as I can't put any personal information on a forum. We'll get to the bottom of this for you.0 -

Hi, could you guys advise me what kind of deal I could get upon renewal of my current contract, which was for 18-months (ending in March) at £25 per month with 200 mins, 250 txts and STC. I have a D900 and don't mind staying with the phone as its served me well, but I wouldn't mind a Nokia n95 8GB.
Could you advise me as to what I could expect for renewing for another 12 months with the same tariff, but with either the existing phone or a new N95.
thanks0 -
Hi there,
Not as good as some people but I just got 112mins 100txt with vodafone passport for £10pm. Was on 500min 250txt with voda passport £35pm which was reduced to £17.50pm due to coolnewmobile saga.
I struggled to use the mins and texts and I am happy with a tenner a month would have liked a new phone as well but they would not budge.
Got my partner 75 mins 50 txt voda world and new nokia 6300 for £10pm. When they looked at his usage he wasnt a low user but a minimal user. Would have liked a few more mins with this deal but it was the best I was going to get.
these are on 12 month contracts I have to ring back in month 10 to deal again as they are 9month 1/2 price then revert to £20pm.0 -
hi all,
Im coming to the end of my 18 month contract with voda at the end of march and im currently on a £25 pm contract which gets me 150 mins with STC and 200 txts. I rarely go over my contract PM value (£25), although over the past few months my bills are hitting the +£40 mark. Just wondering what i should expect from an upgrade to a 12month contract if i were to have a new phone...im interested in either the n95, 6500 classic or the 8600 (doubt i'd get the 8600 though!). Also do voda retentions do any deals on insurance as i lost my old phone (nokia n73) midway though the contract and as i had no coverage i had to pay for a new phone:mad: .
p.s. i dont suppose anybody knows if the n82 will be coming out on voda?0 -
Hi, the N82 isn't set for release on Vodafone. We have the N81 and the N95 8GB, which are two excellent alternatives though.0

My 12 month contract is due to finish in March and I am seriously considering switching to PAYG because my current contract is too expensive for what I use. I am currently on Anytime 125 + 250 Text for £20 per month but I only use about 30 mins and 75 texts per month. The last couple of months I've also spent about £5 a month on data.
Could I get a cheaper tariff from vodaphone or should I go PAYG?
Cheers
James0
