thanks for your kind offer, unfortunately as i've tried to use the online 'contact us' option but failed to obtain as a reply, not much different to speaking to you on the phone as it appears. i appreciate that i may be a one off but from my point of view, i can only assume that there is a general carelessness you have with your customers that your competitors don't seem to share.
i would however, appreciate any feedback from other customers who have experienced a similar issues, in the very least to give voda a kick up the jacksy and they can actually go out and help customers who have problems with the service.

Sorry that you didn’t get a response when you emailed in, we did not receive the email in my department so I can only assume that the code FIT135 was not included in the body of the text.

Did you get a reference number when you emailed in?

I would really like to help and at least make sure that your latest bill is charged correctly. If you would like me to do this for you please contact me using the Vodafone online contact us form here. Ensure that the code FIT135 is included in the body of the email and all the questions are answered so I can access your account.

    Hope to hear from you.

  • Hello
Wish I had found this thread sooner! Just wondered if you could confirm whether or not I have just upgraded wisely!
I have a SEK800i on an 18mth contract at £16/mth Anytime 75mins + 100txts with stop the clock and passport.
I was in Phones4u last week and they told me they could do a better upgrade deal than going through Vodafone and they gave me a SE K850i on the same tariff but told me I had to take out another 18mth contract if I wanted that phone (I asked if I could do a 12mth this time).
I really would have like more minutes if not both mins and texts. Phones4u told me I would need to move price plan to £25/mth for that if I wanted the SE K850i.
My initial enquiry with Vodafone re an upgrade resulted in them offering me the K770i.
So, did I get a good deal here or not??? I would still like to have added some minutes to my package but don't want to hike up to £25 from £16/mth.

Kind of a retentions question for the vodafone poster.
Haven't been able to view itemised bills for months now, 'we are experiencing problems, please try later'. Any idea when this will be sorted? (online help form said 'it's your computer', it isn't as I've tried it at work too).

Second is, I recently took a retentions deal that was very cheap, but kept my old phone. Old phone is now dying, what are the chances of me getting a good deal on a payg phone given I have a contract?

    cheers in advance

As a family we have 4 contracts with Vodafone, 3 in my husband's name and one in mine. My contract is up soon following 18 months and I can upgrade now currently have Samsung E900. The tariff I am currently on is £16 pm 75 stop the clock mins and 100 texts. I really want to upgrade to a Nokia N95 and am happy to pay a little more if necessary. Is this possible please? Your help is much appreciated. Thanks.

I'm sorry this hasn’t been done for you yet. There could be a couple of reasons this isn’t working.

Do you have a direct debit in place? Online billing is only available to Vodafone customers who pay by direct debit.

Is you account paid up to date or are they any restrictions on you line? If an account goes overdue or if any restrictions are placed on your account this will suspend your online billing service.

Did you activate the online billing option after you had signed up for a "My Vodafone Account"? After you have activated your "My Vodafone Account" you will need to select the option for online billing from the left hand toolbar.

If you have done all of this and it still isn’t working I would need to have a look at your account. Please contact me via the Vodafone online contact us form here. Please fill in all the details it asks then I wont need to come back and ask any further questions. If you include the code FIT135 in the body of the email it will come through to my team in the forum department.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Sockospice,

Sorry you are having problems accessing your online billing account at the minute. There has been a fault with accessing online billing over the past 6 months however this has now been resolved. It sounds like yours is a one off so I would like to have a look at your account to check everything is correct. If you would like me to do this please contact us via the Vodafone online contact us form here. Please fill in all the details it asks for and include the code FIT135 in the body of the email so that it comes through to my team.

In response to your second query I don’t have access this information I am sorry. I would suggest that you visit a local Vodafone store and see what they have available and at what prices. We do have some great PAYT handsets available on the Vodafone website here; some are from as little as £18 which is a fantastic price.

    Hope this helps.

  • Hi DaisyG,

Im sorry but Im unable to give upgrade information online. Upgrade offers are based on individual customer needs and so I wouldn’t be able to give you the best we can offer on a forum as we would need to look at you account to understand how you use your phone and to see what is available to you.

Whilst Vodafone customer services do use internet forums to offer help and support to our customers were unable to give information on sales and upgrades as this is account specific.

I would suggest you visit a local Vodafone store or contact our upgrades team by dialling 191 from your mobile. You can view our latest packages and handsets available on the Vodafone website here.

    Sorry I can’t help further.

  • Vodafone Retentions called me earlier, informing I was due a free upgrade! I explained to the guy that the only handset I wanted was the N95 8Gb. He said on my current price plan (200mins, 250 txts for £20p/m) it would be impossible to give it away free.

So after much debate we agreed to an 18 month contract, with 200 mins and 250 txts. Monthly line rental is £20 for 1st 12 months and £25 thereafter (remaining 6 months).

Over all I am delighted with this deal as I getting the handset I want for free! Although I was a little off put by an 18 month deal. I very much doubt this deal can be beaten, as I've done a fair bit of research.

    Good deal or bad deal?
