    Does anyone know if the N82 will be coming out on Vodafone soon? My contract is up in March and am looking out for this phone.
    Also I take it that upgrades/retentions are somehow linked to previous spend, is this correct because I spent over £1200 last year and so am hoping for a good deal.

    Finally, this month I have been charged £6 in admin fee for not having a DD set up. The issue is that I transferred banks recently and every DD seemed to go across apart from Vodafone, could this be the fault of either bank and Vodafone?

    ok, bit the bullet and stayed with vodaphone, (thanks hopefully useful for the help),
    now my other gripe is the samsung f700 i ordered for my wife is supposed to include a pair of bose headphones(and is STILL advertised on their website as being included with the phone) . now i already own a pair that i picked up in the us last month but the wife loves them so was looking forward to recieving a pair, but they didn't come with the phone :confused:. i have just spoken to customer service and the nice fellow told me that the deal ran out at the end of december and they had none left. if they have none left why are they still advertising the phone as having the headphones included :mad:.

    Been on the phone earlier tonight to Vodafone as I am now in the last 2 months of my contract so am eligible for an upgrade.

    Currently I have 75 minutes plus Stop the Clock (makes the 75 minutes last a lot longer!) and 100 texts for £16 a month.

    As I have the Samsung D900 and its still in good condition I decided to not upgrade this time round but enter into another 12 month contract. They have reduced my line rental to £10 a month staying on the same contract.

    Quite a good deal I think if you are happy with your phone. They said they offer a £6 discount to anyone doing the same.

    thanks for the offer, I set up my DD again & had an email to confirm & still could not access it ?? no-one knows, but guess you cant do nowt anyway now they suspended my account ( see below )

    I sent a copy of my complaint letter on 3rd with the Otelo copy as they were advising me to contact Voda again and I should have heard back within 7 working days from reciept of mine, on 25th Vodafone say they have not recieved anything ( guess thats what happens when everything is outsourced - why oh why did they just not make Banbury internal transfer calls only from other out sourced call centres instead of closing it ? )

    On the 9th, Vodafone knowing I had a complaint with Otelo disconnected my mobile & collections are chasing me........honestly nothing but powerless call centres for anything off the script is ruining the Vodafone brand HU, can you feed this back to your Exec Office matey....my payg runs smooth as a silk sheet off Kylies bum, my contract....oh god - more bumps than a country road...I have to make time to call Otelo back, its just a complete mess, Orange & 3 have outshone Vodafone in similar circumstances with regards to no longer offering the contract agreed too ( in fact I resigned with Orange which my Voda was meant to replace ), T-mobile & o2 are just as bad......over the last 5 years its not just Voda its all them - the market is so cut-throat customer care has come in as less and less a priority.....I expect better from Vodafone the worlds market leader....I have worked for Vodafone in another country...
    SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

  • Contacted Vodafone back in October to leave as I had every intention of taking up a cash back offer.

    However was contacted by retentions who offered me a free W910i 1/2 price line rental for 9 months and 50 free texts a month all over a twelve month contract. My contract is Anytime 400 @ £25.

    I never use anywhere near the 400 mins a month but thought that the offer was quite attractive. I told the chap on the line that I wanted to check out the W910i and would get back to him. After realising the W910 was pony and a slider I asked if the k850 was available on the same deal. This was confirmed however I was put off this phone by a friend. Started to research phones and realised that some nice phones were coming out so decided to wait until after Christmas to take up the contract offer and new phone.

    Rang retentions in Jan and lo and behold the N81 8gb was on offer with 1/2 price line rental for 9 months and 50 free txts. I made sure the guy I was ordering it from ran through all aspects of the deal ie 1/2 price line rental for 9 months and 50 free texts and N81 8gb. Yipee me thought on confirmation and took the offer of contract and N81 8gb.

    I was advised that the half price line rental and 50 free texts wouldn't appear on the documents with the new phone but the info would be on my new bill.

    New bill has just arrived and no mention of 50 free texts or 1/2 price line rental !!! Rang voda and was advised that if I have the offer in writing then they will honour it !! (but was advised that the contract offer isn't confirmed when new phone is sent out) and now am outside 14 days to cancel contract !!!!!Now there is no mention on Voda's system of the W910 phone being offered in the October deal even though I got him to go through all the details as I thought it was too good to be true. There is also no notes on their system to say that I was offered 1/2 price line rental for 9 mnths and 50 free txts a month on the deal offered in January. Aaaaarghhhh!!!!!!!! Now I'm stuck with an expensive contract I don't want and a phone that I could take or leave.

    It seems retentions have pulled the wool over my eyes in order to keep me and over promise something they could not deliver and then stab me in the wallet for a further 12 months. Good way to keep my custom beyond 12 months.

    Yesterday I phoned Vodafone to get my PAC as I was intending to move to 3. Anyway was persuaded by offer of 200 anytime minutes + 50 texts + Passport + STC + new Nokia 6300 for £15 per month.

    Quite pleased with this so decided to take it (18 months). Phone arrived this morning and it's not new!!!! Phoned to complain and they're exchanging it for a new one on Monday. I really hate being misled, I'd been so pleased with the customer service I got but I was definitely told that it would be a new phone. I'm seriously tempted to call up and cancel the whole deal and go to 3 after all....

    I know it wasn't my misunderstanding because the operator actually said that the 3 phone would be reconditioned but that the Vodafone one would be brand new!
  • ben365 - i had similar problems after taking out an 18 month contract. best advice is to use the contact us form on the vodafone website, fill in your details and tell them the deal you were sold and that they should check the account notes and confirm the deal in an email back to you. It took me 3-4 emails back and forth before they managed to locate the deal and confirm it in an email. On the next bill it was shown correctly with my 1/2 price discount applied. HTH.

    HU contacted me back thanks for that, but collections askin me to pay a balance off on a contract I dispute was never enforcable in the first place with a 20% credit is just insane ?? more so sent to collections 4/5 days after I wrote in as advised by Otelo with thier ref number to sort the complaint out, Vodafone deny an written corrospondence from me over 6 months ???? Otelo were contacted later that day and a full investigation is going to take place, awaiting a copy of the complaint to sign & send back to Otelo
