The Curve 8900 in my opinion is the better phone (and the one I own).
Reasons being: Superior battery, smaller design, better camera.
Only downside is the lack of 3G.Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!0 -
OK, got the phone on Friday, but no details on the deal. No details on Saturday either. Thought best call Voda to check that it is the deal I requested!
Spoke to a lady on the normal 191 number to confirm, she said it was as above but free internet for 1 month only!
Had a little rant about what I was promised, and she offered me the following (also mentioned she couldn't beleive I was offered this anyhow)
600 mins
Unlimited Texts
Free internet - all 18 months
Nokia 5800
£15 / month for 18 months
Very happy:D
That would be impressive if you got that deal
Mine is nokia 5800, 600 minutes, unltd text, internet, passport £23/month for the 18 months.
I didn't think they would go lower than that0 -

Just agreed £15pm £750 mins unlimited text, stop the clock for 12 months
No phone but just couldnt get them to budge anymore
Some of them could do with learning some manners rather than lying out right on the phone0 -
i think it also depends on how much you spend a month, eg if you dont go over your allowance then your obviously not going to get the same deal as someone who does.
so i think that should also be taken into consideration when people get really good deals etc0 -

that's true, but someone who is frequently going over their allowance should think about changing their package to one which gives them more minutes or texts, or whatever they need to keep them within their package!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

not really au fait with the handsets but does sound like a lot of minutes and texts for the price, plus the unlimted internet is good too.
Our last 2 (18 month) contracts have been £20 a month and included 125 minutes and 250 texts with stop the clock but no free internet. We are interested in the Nokia 5800 but noticed that they are offering this to brand new customers for £20 per month with 100 minutes and 500 texts, so am thinking of asking them either to reduce our monthly charge or change it to this tariff. Only snag would be slightly less minutes and probably losing Stop the Clock.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

It seems to be a nice phone, excited about getting it tom...although 24 months long contract! last contract was 18 months. I was paying £20 before for 125 mins stop the clock and 250 texts and I was ALWAYS going over my texts so comparing it to what I had its a good deal. The phone is one they offer free http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/mobile-phone/sony-ericsson-w595
They said I have 14 days to keep the phone or send it back and get another one. You get 14 days to decide they said:beer: If I say something you like....Please hit the thanks button :beer:0 -

thought from your previous post that it was for 12 months, not 24? I notice a lot of networks are keen to sign people up for 2 years, but that seems like an awfully long time to me, and I personally would not be happy to sign up for more than 18 months.3 stone down, 3 more to go0
