Also which is better, the 8900 Curve or the Bold? I understand the 8900 Curve has a better camera but whats more important to me is the email and web browsing.

Right, just to give you all an update. i called voda yesterday and requested my pac.

As usual, inbound retention could not offer any deal. I wanted the HTC Magic for free at £25 per month, 600 mins, unlimited txt and internet. outbound called me up today and would only go as low as offered £30 per month for the same deal.

Not happy with this so i told them to call me back. suprisingly they did call me back, only to say we cannot give you the deal you want because the phone is new and expensive. instead, he gave me my pac code. i cant believe it. No retention at all. Loyalty means nothing to them, i've been a customer for 3 years. Now i will leave. i hate them.

They hardly would make much money out of you seriously if you wanted to go lower! How much was your previous contract PCM?

The Bold have decent camera IMO, ...put this way, it is the best blackberry model EVER made so far. It is that impressive. I had mine for 6 months and it is just great to use. Easy to browse on the web, and using the keys with so much space and beautiful leather cover. It just fit your hands perfectly - well mine does!!

Can you explain why you think this please to help me decide. The reviews state the Bold has 2mp camera whereas 8900 Curve has 3.2 mp but I am not buying a Blackberry for the camera. I also believe the Bold has 3g so quicker internet however I am not in a 3g area anyway so what will my browsing be like?

Also is the deal I got offered the lowest they'll go?

    Thanks

I think 'hate' is a bit strong!

I have been offered the following
    £15 per month
    250 anytime mins
    100 texts
    free internet
    Nokia 5800

Should be here tomorrow - will let you know what tips up with what deal?

OK, got the phone on Friday, but no details on the deal. No details on Saturday either. Thought best call Voda to check that it is the deal I requested!
Spoke to a lady on the normal 191 number to confirm, she said it was as above but free internet for 1 month only!
Had a little rant about what I was promised, and she offered me the following (also mentioned she couldn't beleive I was offered this anyhow)
    600 mins
    Unlimited Texts
Free internet - all 18 months
    Nokia 5800
    £15 / month for 18 months

    Very happy:D

The Curve 8900 in my opinion is the better phone (and the one I own).

Reasons being: Superior battery, smaller design, better camera.

Only downside is the lack of 3G.
