A little update on my progress.....

After a bit of batting backwards and forwards, I'm currently in the final stage of accepting:

Samsung Tocco Ultra
150 mins
500 text
unlimited internet
passport
(think I've asked for some MMS as well!)

Just waiting on the phone coming into stock and that's it!

On the back of this, I've asked for the same deal for my wife, who's using £10 a month on an Orange PAYG - was initially refused as this is retentions but pushed the point of being called every other month, telling me that as a "valued" customer who pays on time etc, do I want a second line on the same basis............so have thrown that in and looks like my good lady is getting a SE C902 (Red) for Mothers' Day!

When you consider they'll do a Sim Only deal of 100 mins and 500 text for £10 a month - feel I'm getting a fair deal, so I'm happy.

Also, the above has been done via email, so should it "suddenly" go wrong, I've got copies of what has been agreed :j

I have he C902 and IMO it's a great phone with a great camera.

Tocco Ultra release date is going back and forth like a Set old ball at Wimbledon at the moment, wish they would decide so I can have mine

so you got the same deal as me, but with 100 less mins for half the price! i feel shortchanged here, reckon i wold get a discont if i called and said id changed my mind and was sending the phone back

I have the Nokia E65 and the SE910i on the one account with Family and friends I am paying £34 pcm for 250 mins and 100 texts 12 month contract. Now these are coming up for renewal. I would be quite happy with the same deal. Couple of new phones, could be same phones but diferent colour!!! Whats the chances folks. Seems very few 12 months contracts now.

I'm after the Ultra and when I phoned she said they couldn't give me an idea of any retention deal until they get more info on the phone, and they didn't even know the handset cost yet!

How long is the contract for? And am I right from reading your previous post that this is £12.50 p/m??

im not sure if this has been covered yet. apologies if it has

if i sign up to the vodafone sim only deal for 3 or 4 months (and take advantage of quidco giving £30 cash back) and then call to cancel the deal (as you can give 1 months notice at any time) and tell them im cancelling as i need a handset, are they likely to offer me a decent deal or will they just tell me to !!!!!! off?

18 months - hence the reason to push for the most recently released phone for me (My wife isn't a gadget's person like me!!)
