Vodafone Retention Deals

Further to foolsgold99's reply I've just called retentions to get a better deal.
They wont budge on yesterdays offer. So much for trying to keep loyal customers
Requested my PAC code which should arrive in a few days.
Taking a look at the O2 retentions thread on the same phone, O2 seem more eager/willing to retain their customers than Vodafone.
Andy
Andy all is not lost. Hang fire for when your PAC code arrives. I wouldn't be surprised if you then receive another call from them offering you a better deal. They have more powers at that point to offer you a better deal. Let us know how you get on0 -

In the case you cannot get the phone on the phone or online its wise to go to the shop and ask them to source one from another shop. Its just what i did about voda not having any HTC Touch Pro's in stock at the time. Warehouses may be empty, but some shops still carry unsold stock...
Went to shop, descrobed problem, got sorted within couple of days. They rang back yesterday - "phone's in, wanna come in sign the papers ? "
I'm new to Voda (not retention deal). But still, opinions on my deal please:
800 min
250 txt
unl landline OR unl voda2voda calls
push email (will have to haggle this one out, because "on the phone" deal went to cr*p when they figured they're out of stock, and shop didnt offer free push)
"Unlimited" Internet * ()
Free HTC Touch Pro
30 quid, 24 months
3.50 business insurance.
Is it any good ? Or should i push some more ? Phone is expensive though...And i want it (being a former HTC s710 user, which is falling to bits of use.) ...

What did you think of it? I really want a smartphone and i'm torn between leaving voda for orange to get it or stick with voda and try and get a better deal with the omnia thrown in. I'm swaying toward the HTC though.
cheers0 -

sent it back and got the omnia, which is by far the better device. The only plus on the htc over the onmnia was the screen size.Waddle you do eh?0 -
