Vodafone Retention Deals

No idea, I hope to find out myself soon. However some info for : Phones 4U are/will be doing the Tocco ultra on Orange @ £25 for.. 24(?)months, with 400 mins and unlimited texts. Quidco gets you £30 cashback too. Vodaphone's equivilent price only get you 200mins and 1000 texts - a ne customer would get around £90 max cashback via Quidco. Check the respective websites

If you wait for it to come out direct on Orange for the same deal you will find Quidco offering £120 cashback on new samsung phone contracts.

Lots to bargain with, wonder what they will offer me?

One way around this is to temporarily transfer your daughters number to PAYG on another network then sign up through Quidco as a new customer and transfer the PAYG number to the new contract. This was working around 6 months back when I last started a new contract.

My daughter is not a money saver, but a money spender and always wants everything now, rather than waiting and getting it cheaper. I'm always telling her to buy stuff through Quidco, but she goes and buys stuff on impluse.

Id say the wife has a good chance, id say that will want you to pay a touch more though just to be sure they are covering handset cost. maybe £18 a month?

On an 18 month contract - you should easily get the 5800.

Hi everyone im a newbie to the site!

I am on vodafone currently and my contract was due for renewal and i found an excellent tip to get better a better deal on your contract! I was already on a retention deal of 500 minutes and 1000 texts for 20 quid a month, along with Vodafone family for another fiver. So naturally i wanted even better! I kept persisting with the vodafone guy and said that i wanted to leave, been offered a better deal elswhere and instantly he offered me 900 minutes and 1000 texts for the same price....yet i persisted and said it wasnt good enough! again he paused, then added unlimited texts to it...yet this isnt the end! I said that was alright but im stull not sure...and thus the finishing piece...he gave me vodafone family for free!! thats unlimited calls to 4 vodafone numbers!! so i got 900 mins, unlimited texts, free vodafone family and all on a handy 12 month contract. Oh, all for £20 a month!

Definitly worth persisting with, just keep on acting like your not convinced and dont say much..leave it in their court, they have plenty to play with so dont just take the first thing they offer you! Don't feel embarrased and they will eventually get to a point where the deal is so good you know your onto a winner.

Fools, thats the same handset that im after and after speaking to retentions yesterday they are unable to give any prices until release, they are hopeing to have the handset in within the first few days next week hopefully ill have mine before next weekend

Looks like a cool phone. My contarct is due up mid April. Could you let us know how you get on with the deal that they give you ssgt?
