Vodafone Retention Deals

Agreed an upgrade with retentions for a Nokia 5800 250mins, 100 text and unlimited web on a 12 month contract for £24 a month last week,
was told phone is out of stock BUT should only be a few days and have heard nothing since.
Looking on the Vodafone forum it seems they are having major stock issues and since i already have my PAC code was wondering if this phone is in stock at the other networks as i could get it cheaper with cashback, quidco etc.
Cheers0 -
Hi i had a sim only 225 min 100 texts and managed to get an upgrade and keep the same tariff but got a Sony Ericsson c905 included for £14.85 per month. I thought it was a good deal as i don,t use my mobile a lot but had my eye on that phone for the camera quality since it came out...very pleased with my deal

I got the X1 for £20 per month, 250mins 100txs, plus unlimited internet and a 16GB micro sd (just paid £5 delivery) - 18 month contract.
How do you manage to get that? How long have you been staying with them?
They called it "rediculous" when I say I want the X1 and pay no more than £20 pcm, and issued my PAC code straight away......0 -
Hi. I was speaking to vodafone retentions today and managed to negotiate the following deal:
FREE Nokia 5800
12 Month Contract
150 Minutes
500 Texts
FREE Unlimited Internet
All for £25/Month
Very pleased with that. They also said I could upgrade in 9 months :j
Hey, how did you get that offer?
I need some help on bargaining, i want to stay on a 12 month contract with a free nokia 5800.
At first, normal upgrades offered me a new customer contract and pay £80 for the phone (when new customers dont have to)
Got through the retentions and they only offered me the contract with a free phone.
NO discount. I even asked for internet and they said i got to pay £5 on top.
Does anyone have any deals where i can get vodafone to match it? They said bazzab's deal wasn't real and no one got offered it

I feel insulted by Vodafone I really do, have been with them for 3 years now 1st 18 months was £35 line rental often more, 2nd 18 months was the same for 1st 6 months but then i dropped it down to £20 as i got a job with a competitor and didnt need it, so £20 a month for nothing.
Just been in to ask about my upgrade, and guess what.
I asked about tocco ultra but its not out yet, so out of interest i asked about the Omnia.
£40 A MONTH FOR 18 HAHAHAHHA.
Its only £35 for a new customer.
Needless to say ive just sent off my disconnection request letter, ill be going to O2 I think when the Tocco Ultra is released in a few weeks.0
