:T currently on 12 mth deal 200mins 50 txts for 2 phones. spoke to Voda about an upgrade. i was offered the nokia 5800 600mins unlimited texts for £25 each. I pointed out i only pay £25 for 2 phones now. Asked for a deal but without a new phone i was offered 600mins unlimited texts for £25 each phone. When i pointed out Voda are doing a 30 day sim with the same tarrif for £20 he replied,I`d have to wait till my contract ran out. So i asked for my PAC numbers.
The opperator asked what i wanted and i told him 600mins unlimited texts. He said no problem £30 for 2 phones (£15 each),on a 18mth contract. When i said no I`m on a 12mth contract, after a word with his manager he agreed.
He also threw in 1 mths free insurance on my currant phones,(nudge nudge, winkwink ) In case anything happens to are old phones we can claim a new phone for £25 excess. so i said yes and it starts tonight at midnight. and i have 14days to change my mind.:T0 -
My partner was negotiating with VF this evening and ordered a
Samsung Steel
200 minutes anytimes
unlimited texts
£15 per month
18 months
I thought this was a rubbish deal but am I right? I'm going to ring up VF tomorrow (under the 14 day returns/change your mind rule) and try to get a better phone (eg Soul or Nokia 5800)
What do you think? By the way, I'm an existing VF customer - he is looking for a competitive deal with them (he's currently with T Mobile and has his migration code)0 -
Hi
I wonder if there is anyone out there that can help me, I have been a Vodafone customer for the last 7 years and I am on the Anytime 75 Stop The Clock tariff and currently spend between £30 - £35 per month. As I am due for an upgrade does anyone know if I would be able to get a handset upgrade to Nokia N96/ Blackberry Storm or Sony Ericsson c905 .
Thanks0 -

I think you can get c905 for free on a £20 tariff (18-month) but you need to negotiate hard to get more minutes. Just tell them you want the c905 phone and pay no more than £20 per months and see what they can offer you in term of minutes.
Ask them to beat the following:
O2 - £25 - 18months - 200mins - 200texts - free phone - (potential £40 cashback + £60 Quidco)

Hi
Where & when did you get this? I have been looking at getting this phone since it came out but didn't want to spend money on unlimited messages etc that I won't use.
Sounds like a really good deal as the phone itself is around £450 sim free!
thanks

bumping this up, would really love to know about the SE Xperia as I have had a look this morning and can't find it any cheaper than £40 a month.

hi, i got this deal about 2 weeks ago from vodafone as an upgrade. did have to do a bit of negotiating with them before getting the deal that i was happy with as this was the only phone i would consider upgrading for on the voda network. i was quite prepared to leave for another operator who had a similar spec phone (touchscreen, full qwerty, free phone, more mins, txt and web n walk)
but they finally convinced me to stay0 -
I've got a few months left on my voda contract so will be upgrading to the xperia. It's such a gorgeous phone isn't it! Can't wait for it but have to wait until september before I can renew
Am hoping the monthly price will have gone down by then. What do you think of the phone? I have played around with it and been shown all its features by a SE rep (when I was at P4U) but haven't been able to have a proper good fiddle around with it hehe.
I'll have to ring them when I renew, I normally just go into P4U but they can't give me that offer! I can't believe how good it is!!

I got the X1 for £20 per month, 250mins 100txs, plus unlimited internet and a 16GB micro sd (just paid £5 delivery) - 18 month contract.
vodafone are brilliant - I don't care what anyone else says, they are totally superb.
They even offered me this deal about a week ago - and this was not even an upgrade just a new line/contract!
Nokia 5800, £15 x 6mths, £20 x 3mths, £25 x 3mths, plus £50 credit after 3 months, so a total cost of £175! about 50mins and 100txts
OR
200min unltd txts, £10 per month for 12months (normally £15), plus £50 so a total cost of £190!
I'm gonna go with Vodafone when the nokia N97 comes out!0 -
