iv been with voda for 12 years and i pay £15 for 60 days. get free voice mail and 2p min to voda. i went to the shop and they told me that im getting ript off and i should up grade it. can anyone help me.......what shall i do?????
wow loyal customer, like the rest of us
£15 for 60 days (2months?) sounds ok to me (£7.50 a month), but it depends what u get with it. how many minutes/text/data?
it depends on what u use really as i think voicemail comes out of ur mins anyway. and it depend on what u want for ur £15 new phone/mins/txt/data to whether it is reasonable as an upgrade. (i dont think we can really say if it is reasonable or not but we'll know for sure if u are asking the earth)

Hi I was wondering if anyone has managed to negotiate a combined contract renewal with a discounted mobile broadband/Dell mini contract?
I'm hoping to keep my SE K850i for £20 p/m for 18mths with 100min & 100 texts (barely even use that much) and instead of a phone upgrade get a Dell Mini instead. Ideally, I'd like it if I could avoid getting tied into a mobile broadband deal at all and just get the netbook for free.
I figure that at £260 to but direct from Dell the netbook is pretty much the same kind of price to vodafone as it would be to give me a handset upgrade.
Any thoughts?0 -
Requested my PAC code yesterday, got the call today. I'm currently on the £15 month, 100 mins 50 texts tariff, which is pretty uncompetitive now. I said I was looking at the new nokia 5800, 100 mins, unlimited texts for £15 through CPW.
They offered the 5800, 200 mins & unlimited texts for £20. I said if anything I was looking to reduce my monthly cost, not increase it, and he said OK your code's in the post!
For some reason I never seem to get anywhere haggling with voda. I guess it's 'cos my monthly bill is rarely over the £15?
Has anyone else managed to get a 5800 for less than £20 / month?0 -
did u already request ur pac?
i spoke to upgrades first and they couldnt offer me anything decent so said that they would get someone to call me back (they were from cancellations i think). they couldnt offer me a better deal than i was looking at either so i requested my pac. once pac requested u should get a text saying that someone will call u from the 0808 number and that is the guy offerring u the best deal that they can. if thats still no good then u get ur pac/cancellation.
i think ive read of folks being called more than once, but its not guarenteed.
yh i have reuqested my pac already, they then called me and just gave me my pac without offering anything, then 3 days later they called me and offered an awful deal, 25 per month 100 mins and 50 texts, unlimited web and c905, i told them thats a rubbish deal, and he said ok bye, now i want to see if im able to get the nokia 5800, but dunno if theyll call me again, and i got 10 days left of my contract, btw i wanna is this too much to ask for? 250 mins 150 texts nokia 5800 for 15 a month?

That was with Vodafone direct - calling 191 from your mobile. I called last Thursday - they were supposed to call me back on Friday but didn't bother.
If you request your PAC you don't have to use it do you? Or do they cut you off?0 -
