Went a bit off list this afternoon & listed 5 more ebay items instead of sorting out those birthday jobs. Never mind, can always do those tomorrow. While I was on ebay, I noticed that I've sold another of that 'hard-to-shift-been-listed-about-300-times' batch of stuff. I'm very gradually getting rid of it, £1-50 at a time, lol!
Gosh, HappyKitties...I don't think I've been 'inspiring' before. I don't ever feel inspiring, anyway. Inspired, yes, by all the things which give me reason to keep getting up in the mornings, but not 'inspiring'. Nice of you to say so though. P.S I'm a cat girl like you. We have just the one.....a rather naughty big ex-street cat. He drives us mad, but he's very affectionate & amusing.
Must rush now, as haven't yet done even a shred of prep for tonight's meeting. Will have to wing it at this rate & hope that nothing kicks off.

*[STRIKE][STRIKE] hang up washing[/STRIKE][/STRIKE] & do another load
*[STRIKE] finish housework[/STRIKE]
* taking madam to local zoo using membership cards saving £31! take packed lunch, snacks, flask of coffee did not happen

that'll do! Hope you all have a great day
I had an eventful day! called hospital re going and getting blood tests for madam and they said come at 12  Then as we were almost there someone pulled out from a parking bay just as I was about to go past them, I had to swerve and slam on my brakes and something happened with the seat belt holding madam's seat and she flew forward banging her head into the passenger seat. So then we ended up having to go to the A&E to be checked out. Luckily she was fine, but it frightened the life out of me. Now need to take my car to a garage and get them to check out the seat belt.
After all of that went back to get the injections and then came home. My friend popped in for a coffeeDF as at 30/12/16

And not money saving or making for me but DD had an interview for a waitressing job today and has a trial shift Friday evening so fingers crossed for her.
Good luck to your DD with her trial shift. Hope it becomes permanent:T" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hi everyone :hello:
Still mad busy with work. It's just a particularly busy time at the moment. We're a long way into term at the moment and everything is hectic. I just keep reminding myself that I'm doing way better than I was this time last year, both at home and at work.
Not much money saving stuff going on other than I've really suddenly become motivated to try for less food waste, and less spending on food. I'm shocked that I spend as much as I do on food and takeaway just because I'm often tired and I hate prepping food. I've told the kids that if we can save £100 a month for the next 3 months then I will use the cash to do something over May half term with them. We shall see if that motivates them.
Have chalked up another nsd as well so that's a good start.
Hope everyone else is doing ok.Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Hi Bob yes she's fine, obviously she was shaken up and hurt at first but pretty quickly she was ok. Took her to be on the safe side, but with how things were with dd the other day it isn't great. Obviously called her and explained when I knew she was ok but, well you never know....
Won't be taking her in my car now until it's been checked out
all my jobs for the day are donenow going to have a medicinal glass of wine to calm the nerves
