Many thanks for all of your kind thoughts and hugs. You are an amazing bunch.
Well I nearly messed up a load of paperwork, cleaned the kitchen floor-didn't get to mop it, but my daughter treated me to take away as I haven't been eating.
FVD without a doubt I think she knew about the knee infection, the one and only time she actually got on my knee in 11 years. After the infection i couldn't have the amputation for a year as my body was too weak, was sent home on antibiotic treatment and bed rest for a year. All my furbabies stuck it out with me, not that it takes a lot with a cat...despite me being the patient, I still ended up having to share my blankets with several of them!
It's interesting what you said about when your cat was hit by a car, and the other cats surrounding him, I've also heard of that.
It was really hard on Friday night because two of my most placid furbabies started to go for each other and try and start a fight.the new dynamics of the house are still very much in the air.
But thank you everyone for your kind thoughts, they really are appreciated xxDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

:hello: Evening all!
Well today has been reasonably relaxed and uneventful. Quite unproductive too
Talked myself out of paying off a cc and leaving myself even tighter for a few months - I get frustrated with the lack of movement on my debt repayment but know this will get a bit better in may and just need to hold tight! The money I got through this week made me over excited but as my budget is tight and I have no emergency fund I think its best I leave it in my savings account and pay off as and when income improves. Better to be safe and have a little in reserve.
Shopping done so cupboards etc have enough even though I can see room for more so makes me uneasy. Meal plan done and we have plenty to see us through.
So here comes another week! I have got this! :THappiness is wanting what you have...0 -
Hehehe, thank-you.
I have a medical condition which is a blessing and a curse: an Eidetic Memory.
This means that if I hear something through my ears I will often remember it for life. (It's not like a photographic memory where you remember everything you see.)
With songs I will often remember all the lyrics and tune after hearing it just once. This was helpful when getting my Music degree and for teaching music but not helpful when I am trapped on a bus and the driver is playing the most irritating tune ever! It's also useful when travelling because I learn languages easily.
So, I will also remember random facts and information that I've heard on the radio, at the bank where I used to work, on tv or from a lecture. I figured I might as well share some of this random rubbish in my head on this forum!
Foxgloves once said MI6 should have me on speed dial. :rotfl:
However, I often forget my hat when heading out into bad weather...odd...
The only bit of that I can relate to is remembering song lyrics, unfortunately I'm tone deaf :rotfl:Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
